In short, everything. Our host (a delightful lady) was waiting at the gate to greet us. Our room had a balcony overlooking the valley and the village below - perfect to watch the setting sun. Our room was very comfortable, with a marble tiled en-suite. Breakfast (ham, cheese, croissants, tea, coffee, juice etc) is served in a large room and there is a fridge for guests' use. The salt water swimming pool is next to the house and great when the temperature is over 30C. For us, the surrounding area is fantastic - very little traffic and even fewer people. The nearest restaurants are in Mogadouro, a pleasant town,10km away. There are lots of local walks, with leaflets available describing them.

For the price it exceeded expectations. The breakfast was exceptional. The views from the balcony attached to the room were stunning. Loved Mogadouro. It made a magical Christmas.

The place is amazing, our rooms were at the top so the view couldn't be better. The staff were very friendly you feel that you are at home. For breakfast, you have a big choice of fresh homemade food. We ordered some taps, and it was served in our room and was great,our stay couldn't be better .
