A wonderful spot in traditional Alentejo, splendid food and wine, quiet and relaxing place to stay for a couple of days. Top was to stay in Bética Rural Hotel and have "secretos de porco preto" in ADRO restaurant for dinner, and also the wine from "Margaça".
This family run hotel is the best experience we have had in Portugal. Everything was beautiful the breakfast was perfect, the staff perfect, friendly lovely people, who have made this home for themselves and their guests.
This is the best hotel and with the best restaurant just a minutes walk away.
There is nothing bad about this hotel.

The staff was the best part of Betica Hotel Rural. It was a cold rainy day during our stay and the gentleman there offered up his jackets, pants and even socks to help keep us warm. As well as an umbrella. The rooms were a good size with a private balcony overlooking the tiny town of Pias.
The room was very comfortable indeed. We had a nice view over the town. The garden was nice. The staff member in the evening was friendly and helpful. The restaurant across the road was superb. We were able to swim at the nearby praia fluvial. There are waymarked walks from the hotel.
This guesthouse looks like an old mansion with top notch comodities at an affordable price.
Pias is an amazing place to stay at, with amazing beautifull hikes nearby trough the Montado forests.
I'll be sure to visit again..
The lady at reception was absolutely fantastic and so very helpful and friendly. She was amazing. Breakfast was very good and the bed was so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel
