Outstanding place, we had the house for ourselves, which was wonderful, very comfortable, very quiet, it has so much to offer, all amenities, in the kitchen all provided, D Alice was waiting for us on arrival with snacks and wine, provided a great breakfast even checking on us if everything was good!Amazing view, a great balcony!

The place is lovely! The decor is uncluttered and clean, and the spaces are generous and client-oriented. Besides the bedroom, there are social spaces and even a shared kitchen we can use, fully equipped. I didn't have a chance to try out the pool, but it has great solar exposure, and on a clear day you can see all the way down to the sea. There's a clear decision towards sustainability, using many of their own produce, trying to make a small farm productive, and in energy-saving technologies. I was amiably met by one of the owners, who made me feel very much at home. They even helped me connect and charge my electric car.

The location on the main square was perfect. I got my own room which was generous for the price which had a sink which was a useful feature. The staff were helpful and quickly got me connected to internet and showed me where everything was located.
There was also a kitchen which was stocked with utensils which proved useful.

Breakfast average, Portugal has such good coffee normally so it was disappointing to have pre made coffee in a flask which was not good quality. There appeared to be limited choice for breakfast, this might be because of the situation at the moment. We are used to staying in hotels and for us breakfast is very important for the rest of the day. So in comparison to our other experiences the rating has to be average.
The staff were amazing! Because we were pilgrims without a car, they took us with them to lunch. It was the best experience of my time in Portugal. Breaking bread with Portuguese doesnt get any better. Christianna gave us a tour of the hotel grounds. Had a great hamburger for dinner
Very helpful and kind staff. The surroundings are lovely, we took a stroll by the river just in front of the hotel, and were greeted with the sounds of birds, a very beautiful waterfall and a dam. The whole place is very quiet and cozy.
