Amazing location and very friendly staff! Felt like we were staying with family (only better, lol). That patio? Sipping a glass of complimentary port upon arrival, while watching the sun set and the Douro meander by (all in complete silence) - to die for! Quinta da Veiga is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. It feels like you are living in a castle. The rooms and beds were massive. The views were breath taking and it was just so nice and peaceful. The host was so lovely and prepared so much food for us. I was speechless when I saw the place and our room. We only stayed for a night but I wished I stayed longer. I will definitely be back. It was amazing

The vineyard setting and views are amazing, and the service and quality of food in the restaurant was tops. The front staff was extremely friendly and helpful (e.g., providing audio guide for a walk around the property). A glass of wine, soft music playing, and a view of the sun setting over the hills - what could be better!
