Amazing location and very friendly staff! Felt like we were staying with family (only better, lol). That patio? The hotel is located in a beautiful wine estate. The place has a vintage feel. The staff are helpful, the amenities are good. It is also easy to reach by car and once inside, there are clear directions to find the different buildings. The breakfast offered was fresh and tasty. They even started early for us since we had to catch a flight. The restaurant is near Michelin level quality and service. The wines on offer were fantastic. The wine info and tasting tour in their winery was also very good. Overall, the price for the quality offered for everything at the hotel is great. Very much recommended!

Wonderful hotel in town of Folgosa, about halfway between Regua and Pinhao. Friendly, English-speaking staff offered a multitude of tips for visiting the area: wineries to visit, restaurants in each area, drives and viewpoints. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive, everything fresh and tasty. Views from the breakfast area and the rooms were beautiful - the river flows just across the street and the hillsides and village across it were wonderful to look at. The road to Armamar next to the hotel is a wonderful walk to undertake with little to no traffic.
