The accommodation was exactly as pictured. The room was simply furnished and large enough for two people. There is a very large closet next to the bed. There is no extra seating or shelving / storage outside the closet in the room, we were only here for one night as part of a hike so that wasn't a problem for us. There are two shared bathrooms for three rooms, in our case there were no problems either in the morning or in the evening. The bedroom as well as the bathrooms and the common area were very clean. There is a terrace at the back with seating and a washing line, which was perfect for hanging a few clothes to dry. Self check-in worked without any problems and we found it very convenient as hikers, as you don't have to give an exact arrival time. The location is perfect for getting to the beach quickly (a 5-minute walk via a staircase opposite the entrance of the house). On the beach there is a very nice beach bar with a wonderful view of the bay, perfect sunset spot, delicious snacks and passion fruit sangria.

The house is ideally located in the town of Almograve, near amenities. Impeccably clean, with only two other rooms for guests. We had a comfortable stay between walks in the Rota Vicentina trail and I highly recommend it to other walkers.
Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village . We wished we'd booked for two nights here as we didn't get to sample the local beach and the area around was worth of so much exploring. There is a coastal path which we would explore next time. We will come back!
The house has a very nice shape, and it's comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very helpful with the arrival and recommendations for food. As Almograve is a very small village, there are only a few restaurants for dinner. Therefore, it was nice to be able to fetch groceries from the nearby minimarket and prepare a small dinner at the house. We strongly recommend to go for a drink at the beach bar within 10 minutes walk from the house, which offers a stunning view!
Natasha was very welcoming, explained the facilities, where the minimercados were located & most importantly mentioned that “Nicola “ mini mart (100metres away) was open at 6am for those hiking the Fisherman’s Way & in need of food to take along the way. Also beautiful Almograve beach just 10 mins walk , which is also where the next stage of the FW starts from. Very convenient
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The cleanliness of the room was truly impressive.
Patricia was particularly helpful; she recommended great places for breakfast and assisted in arranging a taxi for me. The overall experience was outstanding, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort and silence.
Case Isa covered the basics for us. Rooms were clean, Natasha provided us with basic information about Almograve and check in/out was straightforward. Light sleepers should note that the walls are thin and with windows open (no AC), you hear everything in the neighbourhood (which didn’t bother us).
Well, the apartment ("Alojamento local") is actually a fully equipped flat. Kitchen, terrace, living room and a nice bedroom.
Paulo, the owner, speaks English fluently and can give any kind of advice. The stay in Almograve definitely was one highlight on our hike on the Fishermen's Trail.
Really nice place to stay at while hiking the Fisherman's trail. I met lots of nice fellow hikers there. The place is very luxurious and comfortable and feels like a posh boutique hotel. Extremely nice kitchen and living room, and very modern bathroom. Great location in centre of village.

The hostel was comfortable, clean and well taken care of. It had a nice little courtyard to hang out and the location in Almograve was great. The common space really nice.

From Almograve to Zambujeira do Mar was one of the most beautiful parts of the Fisherman's trail!
Clean, nicely decorated room, good shower. Good sound exclusion with the windows closed. Nice sitting areas both inside and out at ground level. Comfortable beds. Despite never seeing anyone from the hotel, communcation was good and access worked well.
Paolo is a great host and very friendly. As we were walking toward Almograve he messaged us to make sure we were on track and to arrange check-in. In case you are walking the coast and need to wash some clothes, the house has great clothes lines.
