This hotel most definitely once was very prestigious and good. However with time passing, it is not being renewed and so the signs of that are obvious.
The facilities are abundant, staff very sweet, especially those elder ladies. The younger receptionist girls should learn how to squeeze that smile and not look so frightened when you reach out to them with a question. The cleaning ladies were the sweetest. Very good restaurant with tasty dishes. Sauna, gym etc.
I took a double room and it was big enough for two people, also quiet and with comfortable beds and pillows to choose from. The breakfast was rather average, could be better in a 4 star hotel. We stayed just for overnight sleep, and it was a very good option, we had a very good rest
this time nothing, water is not working, wc is not
working, none is wearing masks, all covid-19 security measurements are ignored, you don’t feel safe at hotel neither for health, neather for material aspect - someone was trying to get in my room at 2am, and security did not react.
Restaurant was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and fancy, but a vit outdated. Still worth the stay. Restaurant dinner was absolute travel for a gourmet, and the prices were lower than expected. Park is near if traveling with a pet.
The hotel is well located if you are heading towards Berlin afterwards. The hotel is for classic style fans, but not for modern style fans. Good breakfast.
