Typical hostel setup, they provide the linen and sheets separately so you have to put it on yourself when you arrive. Things were clean and the front staff was super helpful.

Staff is very helpful and even though we checked in late midnight still it was very comfortable to get in and stay was also very comfortable

Trolltunga is worth to see but the hike is very long and very hard even for young people that are not necessarily trained but slim and normal active.
The Fjord are just amazing and the scenery can also be discovered by car along the road. It´s even possible to hike up to a glacier. Unique experience since I have never done that before. For people coming from the city it needs to be noted that dinner should be properly planned since everything is closing very early.
Great location if you are planning to visit Trolltunga. Large apartments, comfortable beds. You can cook your own food, there is a stove and microwave. Heated bathroom floor. It is written that the check-in is until 22:00, we were driving from Bergen, but the road took longer than we planned. The hotel sent a payment link and check in instructions so we were able to check in after 22:00, which helped a lot and reduced the stress level :)
Unfortunately, we did not like much.
In general, the hotel did not meet the expectations.
However, what was positive:
+ Free parking spots available in front of the hotel.
+ Well located (for Trolltunga hikes).
+ Friendly and helpful staff.
+ The view on the mountains (while sitting, because the buildings in front of the hotel are less beautiful).
Breakfast was great. Could add bacon and more fruit selection. Might be nice to extend the breakfast hour to 10 am. Loved the bar area and separate rooms to relax in off the main reception area. Rooms were great - perhaps a little update on furniture (such a desk). Great hotel!
Gem of a hotel set proudly in this lovely town, with very comfortable beds. The art collection at the hotel was genuinely superb. The food was great; we enjoyed a delicious dinner after our hike to the glacier.
Convenient location for the Trolltunga hike.
Very good restaurant in the main hotel.
Good view from a large window and comfortable beds.
Very clean and spacious.
Check in is at the “parent hotel”.
