We had a very nice, large room. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean and had a great shower. We had a really good dinner at their restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Location. The charm of being inside a chateau in the middle of the lake. The green surroundings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We all had a good night of relaxing and deep sleep. The hotel uses Rituals for shampoo, conditioner and hand wash and they smell so good.
The room also has coffee so that helps and the view from the windows is spectacular. Our toddler was happy to see so many birds and to explore the garden grounds.

Venlo is one of my favourite cities to escape to, there are always activities happening and one can have lovely meals from fine dining to take ways. A large no. of Bars all around as well as shopping opportunities at 2 Bruder or Beej Benders ( Fresh food Market and Restaurant). They also have their regular Markets.
So much too do and very vibey.

Quality furniture and furnishings. Beautiful view over the shopping precinct, trees and parkland. Lovely breeze coming in the windows, perfect for early summer month 👏
Stairs were steep and difficult with luggage but once we reached our room we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely, clean and luxurious it felt.

The room was rather expensive. Hotel miss managed my reservation and only had one night instead of two. The service in the restaurant was attrocias. Took forever to be waited on, I had to ask for the wine card 3 times before I finally received it. The waitress said she was busy as an excuse but it was more her unprofessional service & attitude.

Theater Hotel is a very good base starting point for meetings, shopping, musea, lunch, diner and nightlife. Everything you need you can find here and also plenty of bicycle routes are available to nice places in the surrounding. Go to any information desk and you will find information and start planning your own trip.

Travelling through Germany/Poland/Lithuania/Latvia, Venlo is our 1st stop after the tunnel and last stop on the way back to the tunnel.
So a good comfortable stop is essential Bilderberg Hotel has now taken over as our preferred stop

Venlo is a beautiful city , i really loved the architecture and the nature . It was a wonderful time spent. Next time i'll take more time to walk around and explore even more. It is a very neat and clean city my eyes liked it.
The receptionist closes the reception and the bar more than 1 hours before the scheduled that is announce in the room, in the web site and in the hotel. He Just stay behind closes doors playing video games. Refusing to give me even drinking water.
There is nothing in the room.
I had to go on the highway to find petrol station to buy water.
He Very rude , it's very disappointed.
Other wise hotel is ok correct for the price but in middle of nowhere.
Won't recommend to give money to such unpleasant persons
Nice atmosphere (it was freezing outside but the café felt warm and cosy, like a proper café should be !), friendly staff. Room as stated on the site: spacious, with a warm decor. Big plus was the renovated bathroom. Breakfast: we would like to see this more often: no over the top buffet, but a menu with a nice selection you could choose from and which got served in an instant ! Too bad we were only in Venlo for one night. If we do return, this B&B would be our choice again !

Very central location, 12 minutes walk from the train station and shops, cafes, restaurants on the doorstep. Useful to have fridge and iron. Lovely light apartment with big windows and lots of space as well as street view.
Easy access using codes and clear instructions on the initial access were given by email in advance.
Would be good if soap and soap dispenser for washing hands was provided and also a bath mat.
Beautiful bar and restaurant furnishings, very friendly and easygoing staff, they had mail waiting for me and gave me in the first 2 minutes, (even though i was 2 days late arriving for my booking!). Could not even stay the whole night, as i had a friend to care for very early the next day in Eindhoven, but would recommend for sure.
very nice setting, nice fittings - all very modern and functional - really lovely private gardens and ponds outside the hotel where people can fish. felt nice and relaxing. enjoyed the private terrace with chairs and an ashtray (not that common anymore) friendly staff and nice dinner in at the hotel restaurant.
Great location, nice little hotel, friendly staff, cosy room, soft bed (to soft for me, my girl liked it a lot), clean bathroom. We were there for the ,,zomerparkfeest" which is a very nice festival (music, culture, ...) and only maybe 1000m away from this hotel. All in all very good and nice!
Can't say enough great things about this hotel! Everyone and everything fabulous. Attached to gorgeous theatre...do take a quick tour. Fabulous breakfast. Kind bartender served us complimentary Prosecco. So welcoming and so appreciated when you are traveling.
The guest house is very cozy. Everything is very clean. The hostess is very helpful and caring. We will miss this place very much. If I need to stay again in Venlo, I would choose only this guest house.
Very nice old hotel with great restaurant and beautiful grounds in the woods. A bit out of town, so if you want to go to other restaurants, will need to drive. Room was nice and big and comfortable.
