I received a very warm welcome from all the staff at Villa Wanrooy upon my arrival. They really make you feel like part of the family. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with all the necessities available. The hotel itself is very relaxing and my only regret is that I was only able to stay for one night. I am also very grateful for the delicious vegan breakfast that they provided at short notice. What a feast! I will be visiting Doetinchem again in the future and will definitely be staying at Villa Wanrooy.
Hotel was located at a walking distance of the city. Inside it looked nice with a kind of old-fashion charm/style. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lift was particularly slow but fits with the "spirit" of the hotel. The room was quite big with a comfortable bed, it had a thin window glass but the heating was good to warm up the room.
Absolutely top location with an amazing view over the townsquare. Cozy Hotel, set check-in time 16 hour to 21 hour. Clean, slept well and fairly priced. Personal welcome from the owner and the girl at the breakfast friendly and with great hospitality as well :)
We had 2 rooms, this review is of the large one, which came with a large table with 4 chairs, had a good coffee maker, a large and comfortable bathroom. We liked the room very much. The hotel is a 15 minute walk away from restaurants, bars, shops.
A lovely room with nice clean bathroom and thoughtful little details. double glass doors onto a beautiful tranquil garden. the hosts are absolutely stars and went out of their way to help me when I had issues getting to doetinchem.
It’s a chich tiny hotel with an apart atmosphere. It has something from the Gilmore Girls feeling. Be prepared for the typical and traditional dutch stairs, but other than that everything’s really nice and the staff is just 12/10.
Staff was very nice, we asked for a dark and silent room and got exactly what we asked for! Didn't try the breakfast though. Cheap parking available a bit down the road (don't park next to the hotel).
