Nice city to get away from Kuala Lumpur business.
One night stay should be just nice. Don't bother sight seeing (not much anyway) - just stay in the hotel, walk along the river side, eat good food and sleep.

The bathroom is in need of a thorough cleaning. Toilet bowl especially needs a good scrubbing. Not up to par. There was no water supply in the hotel on Sunday until later in the day. Requested for room with facilities for disabled person, not available. Facilities for disabled person are crucial especially in the bathroom to prevent fall.

Actually I was surprised by the number of things tourist can do here in Muar. There is a river cruise as well as a sunset lookout point. Then, there are also the old buildings around the town. To add, this is also a food haven town with many great places to try and local dishes are a must.
Traffic in Muar can be hectic at times with the traffic lights can be a bit confusing as to whether the right lane turns right or to go straight, and the left lane turns left or to go straight. There are many many cars on the roads during peak hours but not much delay experienced.
It was a really short trip so didn't had a chance to seek out its shopping scene.

Muar is a very clean town.
Muar is a very clean town. I really admire that. my friends and I was there on a Saturday so most of the shops are closed. You will find alot of activities to do in Muar. Tonnes of superb food, just search for it.

1. Bring your own iron as hotel iron was at common area and its already stuck at the wall. One cannot dismantle it n bring to your room for ironing
2. Lighting jn room and bathroom were so dim. Not safe for elderly people n kids.

I left my wallet in the hotel. The management are happily to provide us with the wallet, provided if we deleted our negative comment.
The management argues that I bringing one two years old children, so I am in the wrong. In my 10 years of staying at hotel and various accommodation, I have never heard any complaint about bringing two years children to initial booking of 2 adult.
breakfas not good..i tot i stay in Muar i get better food from the hotel. not much choice..all nugget ..1 fruit only..watermelon..i travel many places. this the 1st time i find the breakfas ..very bad..1st n last to classic hotel...i regret to book this hotel..others hotel if i pay this amount..i can get better hotel n good Breakfas
I like starting from the parking lot to the room. Polite and friendly receptionist, very spacious family room, clean room condition, comfortable mattress and pillows, eating places are all walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is quite limited in food choices, but you can order special lontong from the chef.
What a beautiful hotel! Everything about it feels fresh and new, which is wonderful. I truly enjoyed my stay here. From the modern decor to the excellent amenities, it was a delightful experience. I'm definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future
it was last minute booking as we were searching for a place to stay in the middle of the night. the receptionist was very good and thanks to her we all manage to have a place to stay. The price is affordable and the room quite simple but still nice. love it!
My favourite hotel by far in Muar! Hotel room is very big, clean and cozy. My kid enjoy running around. Love the beds. Location is very nice. Got 99speedmart, pharmacy, coffee shop and marrybrown nearby. Friendly staff also. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel, clean. Reception have Cuckoo water filter, can get hot water and warm water, very convenient for family especially have baby. Will come here next time.
Hotel location near to all facilities, to restaurant, to Tanjung Emas which is a must visit place in Muar. Easy to park a car, not noisy/busy place at midnight.
