Great value - its a newer property with only a few rooms - maybe less than 10 at the moment with construction going on for more. The interior has high ceilings, excellent AC, quality towels, extremely clean and friendly staff. Loved the Pools, especially the under partially covered pool that gives you shade for swimming under the relentless sun. The pool was cool in the evening - thanks to the cave like enclosure that played yoga/meditation like music in that pool cave.
It's too far to walk to downtown for me -- but I saw hotel guest doing it. I had a rental car and it was a 5 minute drive to downtown. There is limited parking - like 4 spots right now. And downtown has parking at the downtown Bank parking lot - thanks to the Hotel staff for pointing that out for me - it would be impossible for me to find.
There is limited breakfast and no food service for lunch or dinner -- which I didn't try as I opted to go downtown to eat.
The rooms should have a safe/lock box -- there is currently no safe in the rooms.
Yes, I would stay here again.

It's an incredible place. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Colonial architecture is amazing, you never know what contains a closed door. People are helpfull and in general it was a safe place to stay and walk around.

A great food town.
A great food town. Everything form $1.50 street tacos to fine dining.
Over a two week period we only had 1 bad meal.
We suggest skipping the restaurants around the main square. Expensive and not the best food in the city.
Everything within walking distance. Interesting museums, local market and a bee farm.

Good access because of the Train Maya, but, if traveling using the Train Maya, double check the schedule, is only 3 times per day, that the train goes to Can Cun.
If you have the time, are plenty of places near by to visit Chichen Itza, and Ek Balam pyramids, Cenotes, Churches, plus the regional food, just outside the ADO terminal, is a lady selling "panuchos", is a very simple snack that will surprise you with its flavor, totally recommended, I will go back, just to taste this delicious food.

Wonderful city well worth a visit.
Wonderful city well worth a visit. A long stay here would be perfect. Handy to visit the nearby ruins at Chichén Itzá and close enough to the airport without staying there, With a car an ideal pace to explore towns, villages, cenotes and ruins nearby. Beaches are not far away. All around delightful city with friendly and helpful people. Felt completely secure here. Would definitely stay here again.
The location of the hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the center. The host was so kind and helpful and guided us on the sites and routes to take while there. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a surprise rooftop terrace with a little pool/bath to relax and a fridge to keep your drinks etc while relaxing on the terrace.
The breakfast is AMAZING - the vegetables are organic and from the host’s farm and the bread and jam are homemade and delicious.
Anyone visiting Valladolid should try to stay in La Flor!
Very pretty, compact boutique hotel with a lovely courtyard that is a real oasis, not far from the center. Staff are great, breakfast is great (many options, yummy and generous), parking is private and secure just across the street. Rooms are well conceived and comfy. Pool is no more than a dipping pool but nice to have on a hot day. Rooms face the courtyard where dining and drinks etc happen so one can hear a bit of noise from there but not late at night - all in all a real gem and great value!
Our bus had a delay so we were one hour late than our original schedule for arrival but the hotel saved us our room, the staff was really kind (it was 22:45 showed us to our room.
the room was clean, smelled really nice. Loved!! the bathroom. We even get free water.
On top of the building is terrace to just chill. Near city center- 5min walk. Around are the cafes, restaurants, shops,…
ADO bus stop is just 10min walking distance.
Definitely recommend for anyone who is in Valladolid!
The hotel definitely feels like its own little world in Valladolid, complete with an impressive palm-thatched hall, a tower, the steamy saline cave, a cool outdoor swimming pool, and even a clothing-optional relaxation space. Plus, our room had art from an local artist that was "trippy" to say the least! To finish our stay, we got a couple's massage at the hotel that felt great after days of sightseeing Mayan ruins in the jungle.
This is a fabulous hotel. It feels like an upscale boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is beautifully furnished and has both AC and a fan. The pool is inviting and clean and had lots of greenery and French style cafe tables and chairs as well as chairs for lounging around it. Very tasteful! There was even a great restaurant within a 5 minute walk. I would recommend it very highly.
The staff was amazing! Yanet immediately helped us with all of our questions. The breakfast ladies catered to our tastes and were very sweet. The staff definitely spoiled us. The rooms were impeccable. They cleaned them every day. Marcos has a very well run hotel. It is quiet and relaxing. There is a large store right on the corner. We will stay here again if we return to Valladolid.
It’s a super cute boutique hotel with many details and love. We loved that it had a hammock inside the room to relax and a very comfortable bed. Everything you need is there, even a small kitchen to prepare some snacks/food.
The amazing and big pool is on the other side of the street and looks super dreamy with the terraces, connected to another building.
Secluded in a small jungle surrounded by singing birds ! Cute boutique hotel one of the best in Valladolid . The breakfast was out of this world ! The service was even better - we booked one night and ended up staying another night getting an amazing room with a jaccuzi for the same price ! The whole experience was a great way to start off the trip!
Great family-owned hotel with just a few rooms. Very quiet and clean. Some reviewers complain about it being far from downtown. I personally prefer being outside of Valladolid in this quiet area. Still, you can get downtown in about 20 min by foot, or in 5 by car/taxi. Nice pool area and REALLY nice staff. I would repeat.
We enjoyed our stay at the Archie Boutique Hotel in Valladolid. The rooms are quite small but nicely decorated. The backyard is nice to rest and to enjoy the (free) coffee in the morning. The receptionist is really friendly and caring. For Christmas he surprised every guest with a candy present and hosted a Piñiata Party.
Very nice, well-situated boutique hotel in Valladolid - a great refuge from days of visits and activities.
The rooms and common parts were nicely decorated, you feel well just hanging out and resting by the pool or on the terraces.
Very nice and useful staff
Comfortable rooms for a good rest
Wonderful boutique hotel less than a block away from the main town square in Valladolid. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. The breakfast each day was amazing and the staff were all very friendly. Would absolutely love to stay here again!
A hidden gem, a boutique hotel with full services. an incredibly friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The breakfasts were excellent, with my wife exclaiming the "house specialty" egg dish, with local ingredients was the best breakfast of our entire trip.
Very nice boutique hotel located very close to the central park, rooms are very nice , clean , modern, nice and clean bathroom, very nice view from the top floor over the centre, reception staff very friendly and helpful
The garden in the center of the hotel is super nice. The whole place made us feel comfortable. And the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I really recommend this place during a stay in Valladolid.
Boutique hotel that hit all of comfort factors. In house restaurant is delicious and the landscape of the hotel has plenty of encloses to find your hidden paradise.
