It's an incredible place. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Colonial architecture is amazing, you never know what contains a closed door. People are helpfull and in general it was a safe place to stay and walk around.

A great food town.
A great food town. Everything form $1.50 street tacos to fine dining.
Over a two week period we only had 1 bad meal.
We suggest skipping the restaurants around the main square. Expensive and not the best food in the city.
Everything within walking distance. Interesting museums, local market and a bee farm.

Good access because of the Train Maya, but, if traveling using the Train Maya, double check the schedule, is only 3 times per day, that the train goes to Can Cun.
If you have the time, are plenty of places near by to visit Chichen Itza, and Ek Balam pyramids, Cenotes, Churches, plus the regional food, just outside the ADO terminal, is a lady selling "panuchos", is a very simple snack that will surprise you with its flavor, totally recommended, I will go back, just to taste this delicious food.

Wonderful city well worth a visit.
Wonderful city well worth a visit. A long stay here would be perfect. Handy to visit the nearby ruins at Chichén Itzá and close enough to the airport without staying there, With a car an ideal pace to explore towns, villages, cenotes and ruins nearby. Beaches are not far away. All around delightful city with friendly and helpful people. Felt completely secure here. Would definitely stay here again.
Travelling in Mexico might occasionally be complicated. Yet, Hotel Los Frailes is a modern and gorgeous hotel that has everything you need to explore Yucatan. The receptionist Jesus was very helpful and provided us with a lot of information about Valladolid and how to reach the best locations and restaurants.
The building was recently renovated and it has everything you need, including a beautiful pool.
The neighbourhood might seem a bit dodgy at night, but it is absolutely safe. Also, the parking slot is quite big and it is easy to park.
Hotel Meson del Marques was in a great location very close to the center of Valladolid. It was set up with rooms around the central pool and parking, which made it feel very safe and private. The restaurant was very good, and the complimentary breakfast included in our stay was incredible. The room was fairly standard. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and welcoming, including in the restaurant.
It’s a super cute boutique hotel with many details and love. We loved that it had a hammock inside the room to relax and a very comfortable bed. Everything you need is there, even a small kitchen to prepare some snacks/food.
The amazing and big pool is on the other side of the street and looks super dreamy with the terraces, connected to another building.
This boutique hotel is located about a block and a half east of the zocalo. As such, the location is very convenient to everything. The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast space was also really nice, though I found much better breakfast options in Valladolid than this hotel. The limited breakfast options in the hotel were very egg-focused.
The room was huge, the bed was comfortable and wifi signal was strong everywhere. The hotel is like a small oasis due to the pool facilities. The breakfast is really good and filling but the best part of it all is the staff - not only they were kind and helpful but they gave us great recommendations to make sure we enjoyed the most of Valladolid!
The hotel is lovely, very safe, and with very spacious rooms. It counts with a pool and a restaurant on site. We only used the hotel to rest, and it worked perfectly. The staff was super friendly and gave us some recommendations of where to eat and what to do in Valladolid. The room rate included bottles of water.
Very nice, well-situated boutique hotel in Valladolid - a great refuge from days of visits and activities.
The rooms and common parts were nicely decorated, you feel well just hanging out and resting by the pool or on the terraces.
Very nice and useful staff
Comfortable rooms for a good rest
Our room was very large, comfortable bed, good AC. Plenty of storage with wooden furniture and a small portable clothing rack. Lovely sitting areas throughout the hotel.
Just a side note-one needs to be able to speak a little Spanish to communicate with staff & most of Valladolid
Everything!
The hotel is a hidden gem: barely noticeable from the outside, stunning when you get in.
The personnel is extremely nice and helpful, rooms are very beautiful and cured in all details… and breakfast is AWESOME!!!
Definitely recommended when visiting Valladolid.
There wen't many room options in Valladolid for a family of five. The room we got was actually two adjoining rooms. Spacious. Great location near the zocalo. The rooms in the original part of the hotel are converted rooms from an old college - very happy with stay.
Great location, the staff very nice, and the hotel overall is very good to enjoy Valladolid. It is really good that there is a parking place on-site.
My mother had to store some medicine in the fridge and the staff was very helpful with that.
Lovely hotel managed by a lovely family that puts a lot of efforts in maintaining it and making you feel like at home. Breakfast is amazing to start the day. Perfect to discover Valladolid! Would recommend it to anyone staying in the city.
Such a cute, unique boutique hotel! Fully recommendable. Attentive service, very friendly and helpful staff providing tips for where to go, fantastic pool including its own little grotto, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast.
The hotel room was confortable and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the center of Valladolid.
What a lovely boutique hotel. Very calm and quiet, and the pool was amazing. The receptionist helped us with laundry. We got welcoming gift. Really nice accomodation.
Pleasant little boutique hotel just off the main square. Location good for bars and restaurants etc. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. A/c works well.
