First and foremost, I'd like to start off with saying the staff was incredibly personable, kind, and helpful. The auditors were all very friendly. The cleaning staff was also very nice and offered daily turndown and laundry service. The centralized location and convenience were a huge plus. I felt very safe here. Within the same plaza, you'll find several businesses such as an Oxxo, a confectionary shop, an ice cream parlor, a churro stand (my favorite!), a bank, and a fine dining establishment to name a few.

Most of the people is friendly and helpful, the city no really nice with lots of streets getting flooded with sewage in rainy days, most of the taxis old and without a/c so needed in steamy hot days, lots of people not wearing protective mask during pandemic.
Hotel worst to stay , we where going to wedding and couldn't book hotel near beach, but no regrets at all. I recommend this location if you have car, you can drive any place and is not so much traffic * 25 min to the miram beach*

We ate around in IHOP and other places, food around good and fresh too.
If you with kids , there chuck and cheese,.peter piper pizza around ; in case you need. Also Walmart, sanborns, and etc. All you can walk.
This was our first stop on our travels through Mexico to Belize with our dog. The hotel is far enough off the main route thru Tampico, but easy to get back on the road. Good parking right outside your room which made loading and unloading simple. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Not a luxury hotel, but nice enough for us for the night. The whole complex is gated, so very secure. Very pet friendly, which is important to us. They do charge a pet fee, but it was only a few dollars.
Breakfast was amazing, food was warm and flavorful. Pool was very clean and well kept. Room was clean and Ac unit worked perfectly. Restroom could used a deep cleaning (dust in the corners). Hotel is located in a great plaza and the restaurants next to the hotel are fancy dining at great prices and even a coffe shop.
The garden, pool and restaurant were exceptional. The breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel. The service was fantastic. The rooms were clean and attractive with comfortable beds. Coffee-making facilities and soft drinks were available and included in the room rate.
The location is pretty good, with a lot of places to eat and a supermarket nearby. There is a parking lot. The hotel is easily accessible. When in the pool we were offered cocktails, which were not expensive, but rather well prepared.
Personnel are very nice, hotel looks like it needs some remodeling work but overall is fine. To me the most important thing is a comfortable bed, and they were.
There was no hot water in one entire section of the hotel and the lady on the front desk did very little to help. The rest of the staff was very friendly.
