I don't know where to begin...
I was so fortunate to have been able to call Los Arcos home for 11 days. And home it was. Everything about this hotel far exceeded my expectations.
Location: It can't be beat. This hotel is situated two blocks north of the main road where all the action is, yet it's very quiet. Everything dowtown is walkable, but if you're like me and prefer to dine where the locals eat, there are plenty of options nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to the ADO terminal, and also very close to the Collectivo stop.
Room: I was in room 14, at the end on the second floor. My room was remarkably clean, and huge! My room was freshened up daily, with garbages changed, bed made, and fresh towels provided. The room received a thoroughly deep clean twice during my stay, which was more than adequate. I found this room incredibly tranquil. The bed was so comfortable, and I can't remember the last time I've slept so well. The a/c worked flawlessly, cooling the room off within minutes after coming back after a day spent out in the sun.
Facilities: It's obvious the staff take great pride in maintaining the property here. I enjoyed my evenings sitting on the loungers near the pool under the large palm trees. The pool was lovely. There is a fountain turned on during the day, so you can enjoy the sounds of water cascading down and birds chirping. I also really appreciated the communal fridge in the main lobby area, and even more, the hotel kitty Fanta kept me good and entertained.
Services: The staff at this hotel are so very friendly and helpful. The ladies at the desk greeted me with a smile every time I came and went from the hotel. The daily breakfasts were also delicious, and the variety changed daily. The unlimited drip coffee was available at all hours which I appreciated greatly.
I could say so much more, but I'm running out of space to leave more comments here.

Please read thoroughly before reserving this hotel. While the location boasts a beautiful seaside area, our experience at this hotel establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the staff seemed friendly, and the offer of boats and paddle usage in the sea was enticing. However, our adventure quickly turned disastrous.
During our boat excursion, we were met with unexpected weather conditions, and a massive wave capsized our boat, leaving us stranded in the tumultuous sea. Despite wearing life jackets, we were left to fend for ourselves for over an hour, battling treacherous waves with no assistance in sight. When we finally reached the shore, the manager's primary concern was the missing paddle, rather than our well-being. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge $83 for a replacement paddle, which I later found online for $30 on Amazon.
Furthermore, the on-site restaurant offered overpriced, low-quality food, forcing us to venture into the city for every meal. The road leading to the hotel was unpaved, adding to the overall discomfort of our stay.
In conclusion, this establishment prioritizes material possessions over guest safety and satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Our traumatic experience serves as a warning to anyone considering a stay at this negligent and disappointing hotel.
This hotel is located on one of the nicest beaches in Tulum, Mexico. The hotel offers a secluded location, guest rooms with free WiFi, an on-site restaurant and the Ziggy's Beach Club.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon.
If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too.
Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch)
Bar : Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar (great Mojitos)

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive.
Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.

Tulum is not at all bad, they are lots of cenotes to visit & swim in nearby, the beaches are cool the (free ones), but better on the paid side. The food downtown Tulum ,especially the taco stalls and seafood restaurants are excellent.Make sure you have cash on hand. Most spot dont take credit cards. The beach zone is not really pedestrian Friendly, but still lots of restaurants, shops & beach clubs,. Also do your research & the taxis are here to get your $$$$ kinda over price ,also alway haggle the price down.Over all it was a great escape.

Swimming in warm, clear water that is usually swimmable or floatable on most days for most swimmers is delightful. Sea bird watching is always very rewarding while on the beach. And, the food is sensational.
I have traveled before to TULUM a year ago. Nowadays TULUM is another different town. So much tourism and everywhere you want to go you have to pay, inluding beach access. Public beaches you have to pay in the entrance (around 45 MXD) plus if you go with a motorbike another 100MXD to park. Do not rent a car, it is impossible to drive over. The street are totally in bad conditions also super narrow. Scooter or bikes are the only option. Also hotel zone are totally crowded, avoid this areas or carry with you 1000MXD at least per person.
Amazing property! We came at a time when the sargassum on the beach was manageable. The beach was a pleasure to swim at!
I highly recommend you ask for “room one.” That’s the room we got and it was the only one directly on the beach. All the other rooms were behind ours.
Coffee being brought to us at 7:30am was amazing!
I truly believe this is the nicest hotel on the nicest beach in Tulum.
We were a bit put off by some more negative reviews — don’t pay them any attention! We had an absolutely magical stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was amazing, the staff very helpful and friendly. We were offered a room upgrade and stayed in a beautiful room at the beach. Just amazing views and easy access to the beautiful maya ruins. We highly recommend to stay at this unique hotel in Tulum. The staff takes pride in the turtle nesting at the beach and protects the nesting sites with small fences. Keep up the good work :)
I came all the way from Berlin, Germany to Tulum. La Zebra was a great choice but what really made it stand out was the health and wellness Pavillon overlooking the ocean. I had two exceptionally great classes (Yoga and HIIT) that really made all the difference. There are quite a few nice boutique hotels along the cost but none of them offers a workout experience with ocean view. I would recommend it any time!
Very beautiful hotel - a lot of plants and vines form the courtyard, creating an oasis-like feeling.
Modern rooms, very good bathroom facilities, especially for Mexico.
Tasty breakfast with plenty of fruit.
Location is good if you have a car - much better to stay in Tulum proper rather than the beachfront hotel area which has a horrible road leading up to it.
Walking distance to downtown bars.
Beautiful, peaceful boutique hotel near some of the best cafes and restaurants in Tulum. The service is brilliant and the staff went out of their way to make us feel very comfortable and provide lots of great recommendations. The room was huge and the whole vibe is very chilled and tranquil. We extended our stay by two nights! Would certainly stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Hotel was super clean, modern, Staff Ricardo gave the extra mile with us , Jesus was extraordinary too. The breakfast was super delicious and included in the room rate is a plus. This was our third hotel in Mexico and definitely the best. Room is super comfortable and beautiful. Town is super close with a lot of Restaurants and shopping. Everything was perfect. Don’t look anymore in Tulum
This is the best location that you can get for this price in Tulum beach zone. In my opinion the south end of the hotel zone is the most beautiful! we enjoyed going to dos ceibas beach club that is across the street and walking distance to many restaurants and please go to the rooftop for the sunset. Mariano was very helpful and if you want any tips what to do in Tulum he is your guy.
The hotel area within the national park is well maintained, the restaurant offers good quality for an acceptable price (considering the time and effort to drive into Tulum centre where you might find the same quality for half of the price), the beach area is good for relaxing although not for an easy swim - too many rocks.
This hotel is definitely going for the rustic beach posada style. The room was fairly clean and beds were fairly comfortable. The location is okay as well, right on Punta Piedra beach which has public access. But It is in the beginning of Tulum's hotel zone which about 25-30 minutes walk from Tulum's prime beach area.
The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing that made our evening a little uncomfortable were the mosquitoes, but that's something to be reckoned with in Mexico. The price was higher, but everything is expensive in Tulum and our stay was very nice.
Very new facility, extraordinary architekture of the hotel, located in a brand new spot. Felt like a brand new city inside a city. Nothing to do with a typical Mexico, couple of streets away from the ghetto but we felt very safe. Anyway the beach is pretty far. Better to have a car or scooter
Hotel was directly on the beach and our bungalow was steps away from the water. It was right next to the restaurant but felt quiet due to partitions. It was right in the center of Tulum beach zone but very quiet and peaceful, but being in center made it easy to get around. Perfect getaway!
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and super nice hotel, location is very close to downtown, for the beach there will be a bike / scooter / car needed. Breakfast is fresh and good, served on a terrace. Probably the nicest hotel we have had so far in Mexico.
Amazing front desk, they helped me carry my bag from my last hotel which was super convenient! Got a refresher when I arrived and they were super nice. Helped me out with the Taxi as the Taxis in Tulum over charge. 10/10 service
Beautiful hotel with the best service I had in Mexico.
Beach club is great and food very tasty but pricy.
I enjoyed a yoga classes which is for free for guests.
This hotel has everything you need to chill and relax.
Absolutely stunning property that is very cool and different and has overall
Once of the best vibes of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Super sexy place to stay for a long weekend in tulum.
The location was beautiful! You are right on the white sand beaches, in the heart of Tulum hotel zone. The rooms are beautifully designed and it truly feels like living in paradise.
