The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast in the morning is in a comfotlrtable palapa in an intimate setting, and was excellent. There is an undiscovered Mayan mound from the Becan Archaeological Site in the garden just south of the palapa.

The welcome staff, Antonio, was great. Antonio was friendly, understanding, accommodating and knowledgeable
of the area - we were en route to visit the Calakmul Ruin, another 2.0 to 2.5 hours drive from the site. Antonio arrived 5:30p (45 min after we arrived) to help us settle in. We indicated to Antonio the tent where we would be staying only had one bed (for one person) but we requested a 'double twin bed' option. Though he didn't see the 'double twin bed' on his phone, he was able to set up another single-person tent for us after we showed him what we reserved on our phone via Booking.com. In addition, he allowed us to change our reservation from 2-night to 1-night. Very accommodating. The bathroom is clean considering the site is like a camping site. There is limited electricity (battery through inverter) and cold shower as advertised. Would suggest to bring a gas stove with pots/pans and an ice cooler for prepping hot food or brew coffee/tea.

The hotel is affordable. It's great that they have a restaurant which is open all day from breakfast till dinner. The restaurant staff was helpful, they also warmed a bottle of milk for our daughter before bedtime.
Of course we came to visit Calakmul, which is still >1 hour away, but there's just not many options to stay somewhere closer.

The cabin was spacious, practical, and fun. The water pressure was good in the shower, coffee pot worked well, and the bed was comfy. The trail through the jungle is awesome- I saw three spider monkeys and lots of birds and lizards. Really beautiful and well done. It seems like this place is expanding and being made with care.
This is a very rustic stay. There were chickens and turkeys from nearby properties running around the yard which was great. The owner Roque was very hospitable and owned a restaurant near by which was great(ate here twice) Again very rustic but priced just right.
If you are used to fancier accommodations don’t book this place but in general it was great experience being this far into the interior of the Yucatán. Close to Chicanna, Calakmul(1.5 hrs) and Volcun de los murcielos(bat cave)
Wonderful quiet location with pretty colored cabanas and gardens on a family property on the edge of a charming town walking distance from the incredible Becan ruins and excellent driving distance to the famous Calakmul ruins and bar cave.
The owner and his father were really friendly and he was very helpful with our questions about getting to Calakmul, etc. I really really liked the owner Roque. He was so nice!
The tents in the jungle are nice set up under a roof so they are covered from the rain. Everything is basic what is what I like. At the lake nearby there is a special calm and nice atmosphere during sunset. A restaurant is 5km away so bring some food if you need.
It is a good basis to visit Calakmul and come back in the evening. The town nearby Xpujil offers plenty of shops.
We stopped for one night on the way from Becan and Calakmul and we were pleasantly surprised. A nice complex with 4 small colorful houses. Very nice, taken care of and clean small apartment and great patio towards the garden. Staff was lovely and very helpful. They brought us a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would have happily stayed longer.
it was close to the turn off for the Calakmul Biosphere and ruins, so I would highly recommend it. The room was clean, the bed pretty comfortable and the staff very pleasant t. We left at 0530 for the ruins and they kindly gave us a sack breakfast of water, bananas and breakfast bars. The setting is lovely and rural. very quiet.
Super friendly staff! great breakfast, we asked if they could provide us with a packed lunch for the next day, they gave us a great one for free, the sandwiches where the best i had in Mexico so we asked for more on our check out day and even those where for free.
a nice clean room and a good location to explore the area.
if you are in the area to see the Mayan sites this place is excellent. Much more quiet and relaxing than staying in Xpujil. There are two quality restaurants within walking distance. Cute and comfortable cabins in a beautiful little area with chickens and an adorable cat that greeted us when we arrived.
The room was comfortable and had AC. The gardens around the cabinas are lovely and full of birds. It is conveniently located for visiting the ruins in Becan, Chicanna and Calakmul. We only had breakfast one morning because we left too early the other mornings. Breakfast was simple and got us going.
Hotel adjacent the main road, we stayed for only one night with a really late reservation.
Big and decent room with large bed, only soap in the toilette.
The structure was empty except for 4 of us, will be better in the future when the works on the road and on Train Maya will be completed.
Host was very nice and pleasant, breakfast offered. Room was very simple but clean and comfortable. Hotel offering seems very limited and with quite low standards near Xpujil, so we decided to go with a cheap one and we did not regret the value for money at all!
The hotel for sure has its potential: the location is great, foundation is good, however it seems the best years are behind it. The problems are with lack of maintenance and few other details.
+ location
+ very friendly staff
+ hotel and room appearance
The staff is super kind, we got snacks, water and juices when checking out (we were heading to Calakmul). Great garden you can enjoy and a lot od friendly animals. Great starting point for those who plan to visit Calakmul or just relax.
Lovely garden comfortable room, staff very helpful. They booked us on a trip to Calakmul at short notice from a local guide, he gave an excellent tour incorporating the bat cave. Becon ruins are near by. Breakfast was excellent.
We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Calakmul. It was simple but nice! We got breakfast every morning which was so nice! The host is super friendly and definitely would recommend staying here if you want to vist Calakmul:)
The beds were very comfortable, the room clean and the shower good. The owner was very helpful and kind, providing a packed breakfast so we could get on the road early to get to Calakmul.
Close to Calakmul and probably the best option in the area. Owners were nice and accommodating. They packed us breakfast to go the day we went to Calakmul which was very thoughtful.
Good, big hotel, outside Xpujil so suitable for travellers with the car. Generous rooms, quiet, good water pressure and hot water in showers (often missing in hotels in mexico).
