great place to stay, staff friendly and facilities were good. breakfast was great and we had dinner there which was good too. the rooms were really nice and the pool was lovely. great location, right opposite the elephant orphanage. good value for money.

We decided to stop in at the Golden Residence to break up our trip to Kandy. The owner was great and very accomodating.
