Whisky point is such a special place and I am so glad that I stayed here. The resort itself is beautiful and the perfect place to escape and disconnect. The staff are all amazing and very welcoming. As a solo female traveller I felt very at home and could have stayed much longer. The food is also delicious, from pasta to pizza and homemade banana bread! The first couple of days I was working remotely and I found it very comfortable with good wifi. After that I spent most of my time relaxing on the beach and enjoying the peaceful tranquility and good vibes. I 100% recommend.

All the rooms were clean, there were only a few so a nice quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Set in a lush garden and less than a minutes walk to the beach.
Mohamed was a very sweet man and was constantly bringing me small snacks, anywhere from cakes to chicken and chili pastries, that his mom had made fresh for the guests.

World away from busy world. I love the destination. One of the best location I've visited in Sri Lanka. Superb. Kudumbigala Temple, Okanda Dewalaya, Kumana Bird Sanctuary, Yala east national park. Lovely beaches and lagoons and many more places to visit and activities to do in Arugam Bay.

It's a place for beach lovers and surfers. Further not that spectaculair place to stay, lot is outdated and overprized.
For nature lovers is Kumana the place to be and for that reason you stay in Arugam Bay. One village further is Panama, with a little accommodation to stay.

Best place to get away from the busy city life. This is my 7th time visited Arugambay and it has become my fav destination in Sri lanka so far. The vibe is so relaxing and beaches are breathtaking and you can go in to the wild

It is a must destination for any traveller who is interested in surfing. There are shops to buy your needs and many more. You can find good restaurants where they serve meals at any time. Kumana the wild life sanctuary for birds is nearby to where you can arrange transport at Arugumbay. Apart from birds, crocodiles. Leopards. Bears and elephants can be sighted. Though this is situated at east coast there are places where you can observe sunsets as well.
We had a great stay at Dream Garden in Arugam Bay! The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly the guy at the restaurant and the cook who were just lovely. Our room was decent, and we appreciated the comfortable bedding. The food was amazing! The kitchen makes their own pizza, and the cook is great at advising what to eat. The pool was nice, although the water was a bit warm due to the heat. The hotel is located a bit far away from the hustle and bustle of town, which was great for a relaxing stay.
Really enjoyed my stay here, the room was basic but had everything I needed. Mosquito net worked very well and the bathroom/shower was spacious. I was greeted with a smile every time and Murshith was super friendly and really enjoyed getting to know you. He also helped arrange a surf lesson for me last minute and it was one of my favorite activities I did in Arugam Bay. Extremely close to the beach, just 1-2 minute walk and very close to restaurants and all the action at night.
We stayed at Surfers Parks for 3 nights and had the best time here! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and spacious! The breakfast was also very tasty! It was my birthday during our stay and the owner had decorated the dining room with streamers and balloons. There was also a very beautiful and delicious birthday cake ready for breakfast! I can recommend everyone to stay here in Arugam Bay! Thank you for the very pleasant experience!
An amazing place by the beach and with a hammock. But I did a mistake of visiting Arugambay off season( Please check the season dates for here). However Mubarak and his brother were very helpful. Arranged me a Lagoon safari which was quite interesting. Prices seemed a bit high considering it's off season as well.
However loved the facilities. Cabana was very clean and has a good balcony and private washroom. Loved it
I enjoyed my stay at Twinkle Bay Hotel. The rooms are adequate and clean. It is in a prime location in Arugam Bay, not far from the beach and the shopping street.
The hostel owner Muza is very accommodating and nice. He took care of all my needs. From staying in the hotel room after I checked out to taking me to the bus station from where I left.

It is away from the noisy Center in arugam bay (although you have to accept that there are some mosques around...so they sing in the early morning).
The Price is the best you can have. For Our other appartement which was the cheapest alternative we paid double the price.
Everything about this hotel was amazing. We managed to get a very spacious and clean room for a very affordable price, the staff were very considerate, the bathroom was really good . There is a very friendly staff here. They served us delicious food. Nice places in there. Overall, this is an outstanding hotel for a surprisingly affordable price.
Riz and his team was super helpful, friendly and made our stay enjoyable. They have great breakfast options from smoothie bowls to the traditional eggs and toast. The rooms was clean, spacious and comfortable. The AC works well and not noisy. Oasis bay is walking distance to everything you need and about a 10 min walk to baby point surf spot.
The staff and the location are perfect. we arrived in a large group, they accommodated all of us without any worry. Sean and his wife run an amazing hotel and will give you the chill worry free stay that you look for when going to Arugam bay. Sir lanka is known for its amazing hospitality, but The Bay was beyond that. 10/10
The Spice Trail is a beautiful oasis in the middle of bustling Arugam Bay. The room was spacious and very clean and the whole accommodation has an eco-friendly focus with refillable glass bottles etc. Kasun and the rest of the staff are super helpful and friendly and we'd definitely go back if we came back to Arugam Bay.

Amazing place to enjoy a beach vacation! Chalets are really beautiful in design. They're serving great breakfast, local, seafood dishes at the beach restaurant. Surfing, sunset watching national park safari, everything was just memorable. Definitely recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting arugambay 👍
The Bavarian Resort has been a great surprise! The hotel is clean, the bed is big and comfy and the hot water worked perfectly. The owner and all the staff was very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place if you want to stay away from the crowds of Arugam Bay but very close to the main road.
The Host Kennan contacted me via WhatsApp so communication was easy all the time. He speaks quite good English. He is also an excellent surfing teacher and took us on a private safari to see elephants and crocodiles. The location is 5 minutes walk to the main road of Arugam Bay. Perfect for us.
Last time I visited Arugam Bay, I stayed at Sunrise Cabanas and it was fantastic. The cabanas were clean and cosy, and the location next to the beach was ideal. My visit was made even more pleasant by the welcoming and friendly staff. It's fantastic for surfing and a tranquil beach vacation.
We just the loved the food and the staff service. Aprota Villas and its green garden sitting before the blissful ocean made our holiday in Arugam Bay the most cherished out of all the places we have been before. The staff was pretty decent too and well trained.
