I loved their malls, especially The Avenue. I also enjoyed going to the Friday market as they had a huge range of things to purchase. I particularly liked the traditional pieces. There are lots of fancy restaurants to choose from too with great choices.
Kuwait has beautiful beaches and that was surprising at first.

People are extremely friendly and helpful, both local people and the people from foreign countries. The country is beyond my imagination, as there are quite a number of things to see and not very touristy.
Please be prepared for a slightly longer time for everything in Kuwait, as things do not work as you are used to in other countries. Examples would be like, luggage claim might take longer time than usual; When you find the post office on google map, the post office might already be closed down permanently; You get a bus ticket on the City Bus app but just to find their system is down when you get on the bus and the driver denies your in-app ticket purchase; Traffic is a bit slow in the city center; The public bus changes way but google map still follows the old way etc etc. To sum it up, it is still in the stage of preparing itself for the tourists, and probably that's why it's less touristy and people are friendlier.

I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait.
I enjoyed my trip to Kuwait. The weather was great (35C) and it was really nice to go to the beaches. Abundant of restaurants and malls. We walked quite alot around the center and explored for example the Kuwait towers, the grand Mosque and the Mubarakia old market. Since most people travel by car its not the easiest place to walk around, but it wasn't a problem. We felt very safe the whole time everywhere we went, everybody was willing to help and nobody is there to scam you.

We loved Kuwait.
We loved Kuwait. The souk was wonderful, the restaurants were great. I'd suggest visiting as many of the highlights as possible. Focus on restaurants that locals frequent versus "cultural" restaurants that are more for tourists. I wish we had a few more days in Kuwait.
Avenues Mall, Fourth Section (the newest section) is a must visit, even for the mall loather. What a mall!

The weather at this time was excellent. The people are very lovely and friendly. Transportation depends on taxis, which are very cheap - no public tram/metro. Mubarakiah Souk, and Alasemh shopping mall are one of the most places you should visit it.
The breakfast was excellent, the buffet had a large assortment of choices and the quality was fair to good. The staff was friendly and focused on customer satisfaction. The complimentary free shuttle service to and from the airport was efficient and friendly and is definitely a bonus to staying at this hotel. The staff provides a comprehensive service to the guests. Communication regarding the airport pickup was prompt and assuring with email. I would definitely stay again at this hotel during my next visit to Kuwait

I was 10 minutes away by taxi from the towers, 14 mins or less from the Mirror House, a must see in Kuwait. Bus stop very near. Atm, banks, restaurants, coffe shop, and cafes. My first night l just stay walking around the area. There is also a tipical food restaurant like 3 minutes away, actually close to Tim Horton. Very quiet area to sleep, sea view. Comfortable bed. I can go back to this hotel again. Very and great price. Near the beach. I am glad l stayed here.
Thanks to the hotel manger for him to ensure my comfortable stay. I honestly blown away by the quality and design of the room. Especially the bedroom which is 10/10 from comfy mattress and pillows. I chose this hotel because it was closer wedding I've attended which was 10min drive from the hotel. Convenient and reasonably cheap for one night stay. and close to the Avenues Mall. Also thanks a lot to the manger who lend me portable WIFI which is was super helpful

There is a gentleman (Indian national, that came from a Marriott back in India) at the reception which i feel bad for listening to the guests complaints! If i would come back to Kuwait and I'd help you to get a job in a proper hotel. This place should not even be called a hotel but a Wedding hall. Every night there are people in the lobby feels like they are waiting for a bus or a train.
If I have to rate this hotel I will give more than 10 out of 10 . Everything exceptional from the staff to the Egyptian hotel manager and all other staff. The location was excellent, In addition to the breakfast, facilities, room size, clean rooms , parking, and wifi. Thanks for them all they make my stay wonderful. If I will visit kuwait I will stay only in this hotel.
Nice hotel in Sharq Kuwait, pretty small but comfortable apartments. When you travel with Family the rooms can be connected. The staff is extremely kind and helpful whatever you need. The breakfast was really tasty and the choice of food was wide. The rooms were really clean. Definitely recommend you to choose and stay in Ibis Sharq.

This hotel is a great choice when you travel to Kuwait. It is a new hotel, close to the city center and also close to the beach. Everything was clean and nice with amazing personnel. I was leaving the hotel at 1 am and they provided me a full support to be at the airport on time.
I enjoyed the stay at ibis Kuwait Salmiya. It was a short stay, but I liked it. The receptionist was very welcoming, the room was perfect ! (Clean, tidy and comfortable). The location of the hotel is close to shopping centers, restaurants and cafes, which also gives it a plus !
