Location and Onsen availability. The staff was so kind and the facility was top notch.
Yamaguchi is like the Kyoto of this area. Except way less touristy and a lot quieter. It has a charm to it that is untouched by urbanization which is amazing 😉 Yuda onsen I would say is the best place to stay in Yamaguchi it has all the best shops and I send and then you can travel from there because it’s centrally locates to most other places.
This is a decent business hotel with the bonus of a very pleasant 'onsen' bath which guests can use included in the price. The breakfast is very generous - lots of choices, Japanese style. If you don't enjoy Japanese breakfast then there are croissants etc on offer, however I'd recommend the Japanese choices! The room is comfortable, perhaps a bit on the small side, but that is normal in Japan and this is good value for money.
Had a garden view room and it was fantastic! Japanese style dinner and breakfast were definitely new experiences, but worth it! Onsens were restful. Staff were incredibly patient when we had limited Japanese. One tricky thing was using the JR pass to get there, but once you figure out you’re golden.
Great location and facilities. The hotel itself has 400 years history but the facilities / decoration are new. About 10 mins walk from JR Yudaonsan station and 3 mins walk from the bus stop. Great public and private family bath.
It is quite a new hotel. Although the hotel is considered as quite a decent size for a Japan hotel. Breakfast spread is good and facilities are well maintained. As there were many guests in the hotel, the onsen is quite crowded.
great staff, efficient and kind. excellent breakfast, free drinks in the evening most welcome. comfortable beds, not luxury hotel but more than competent - would look forward to another stay.
The hotel was in a great location! It was literally located right outside the station, so it was easy to find and very easy to get around. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus.
Compared to the old-fashioned western style rooms, the traditional japanese rooms are excellent value wit a lot of space, clean, comfortable and well-conceived. The breakfast is excellent.
Lovely staff and great hotel. The room was pretty spacious by Japanese "business" hotel standards. Really loved the strong, hot shower. Breakfast was also reasonable.
The location was convenient. The set up of the room was comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of food and beverages. I especially liked the open-air bath.
Standard Route Inn hotel, on the large size.
Ample car park, albeit very busy.
Restaurants and shops nearby, Family Mart in front.
Good breakfast buffet.
It is a onsen hotel for families, could bring kids into onsen. Breakfast was decent, not much variety but there was the essential like eggs, bread, cereals
Facilities are typical of a capsule hotel, but a very nice one. Since it's part of a full hotel there's plenty of staff and amenities if you need anything.
The room was spacious and very clean.
Amenities in the room were good and overall, very comfortable.
There was plenty of space for working in the room.
