The view of Mt Fuji from the room and tub is amazing.
The staff are wonderfully helpful. We were not happy with our room when we arrived as the spa bath did not match the photos we had seen in the bookings. The staff were great and took us to a different room that was available however that spa bath was worse than the first room so they let us go back to the first room. They staff did all the could and worked with what they had. In the end the let us book the private spa room for an hr for free which had an amazing bath. I really appreciate the lengths the staff went to to try and amend the issue.
The staff and the view are the only reason I am giving this a 5/10 otherwise it would be a 2.

Me and my mom loved staying for this hotel. The location is amazing, right next to lake where we were able to take a walk around the area which is also super cute and peaceful. We also enjoyed our room view to the mountains, tho we stayed there during rainy day, so we were not able to see Mt. Fuji from our room which was really upsetting. But it is a great motivation to come back there on a sunny day. Also, the Onsen in the hotel was our highlight of staying in this hotel. We were able to enjoy it evening late at night, 1 am which was rewarding after day of traveling. There is also Onsen on the terrace which is extremely nice as I could also enjoy night view to lake and area around while taking a bath outside.

The room was spacious, the view was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes; the little luxury items that made a difference.
We stayed a few days to look around Mt Fuji with a hired car, so I can’t comment on location in terms of public transport. There is a shopping mall nearby, it’s handy to buy a few things. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. The coffee shop next to the carpark has great coffee.

We loved the view, location, and cleanliness! There were a few spiders in the second floor bathroom at times but besides that it was very clean and safe. I liked that there is breakfast available any time. I also liked that the staff could speak English but was able to speak with me in Japanese so I could practice my Japanese speaking. I am glad there was a refrigerator for my things and they didn’t throw away any of my things during the 3 days I was there.
