The guesthouses is located in a quiet area of Minabe amidst plum orchards. It is a renovated traditional house of a plum farmer, smells wonderfully of wood and is very peaceful. I was lucky to have the place to myself. Location was great. Nakamura San recommended a nice restaurant nearby called Ichiyoshi. Staff isn’t on site but I was ok with that.
We had a hire car so it made it easy for us to get around.
We had a hire car so it made it easy for us to get around. Minabe is a small country japanese town on the coast without the touristy feel. We found some local restaurants near our accommodation which were gems! Minabe is great choice for being amongst the locals and using it as a base to explore
