Located in a lovely quiet village. There is a shared kitchen (not many restaurants nearby) and living room. Tatami mats covering the floors. Even a small courtyard garden. The owner is around a lot but doesn’t live there so it is just courteous to give him as accurate an arrival time as possible. It is 10-15 minutes walk from Kashiwabara station. The room was small but comfortable. A very nice place to stay.

Each room has a lake view and is beautifully furnished.
The Onsen are well equipped and you can sit in them while enjoying the view on the lake with a fresh breeze coming your way.
Although somewhat limited in English, the staff was very committed to helping us in any matter. Definitely recommend visiting the lounge on the 10th floor for drinks (some are free in the evening) and a very pretty small shop, full of locally sourced products (culinary and small arts). After our evening Onsen round, the hotel offered amazing Soba to close the night.
We took the breakfast in the morning and were not disappointed, as it features plenty of very delicious options.
