Superb country side family house at Azumino, everything looks new and perfect, great mountain view and rice field 360 deg, incredible breakfast prepared by super friendly and helpful host, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, microwave, kettle all available for use, host is also very helpful in planning our trip to Kurobe and Kamikochi!!

Nicely located, very quiet ryokan next to a Buddhist temple. While it doesn't privde the highest standard, it has al the amenities you may need, an onsen, good food, comfy futon and nice tatami flooring. Most importantly, it's very peaceful and quiet, and provides a good base for trips around the mountains. A word of advice, a car is a must-have.
