The location of this hotel was not too bad of a walk into the main areas of Sorrento. Once we arrived at the hotel we did not need to take a taxi anywhere. The room was quite large for Italy and the balcony was nice to have. I highly recommend the restaurant across the street that is a lemon/orange farm.

Overlooking the Bay of Naples and mount Vesuvius, Sorrento is a colorful town in Campania. According to legend, it was the land of the sirens that had the power to enchant with their singing.
The town of Sorrento has gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and a wide variety of restaurants, shops and cafés. Built around the 11th century, the Romanesque Cathedral of Sorrento is the city’s most important landmark. The charming Bell Tower with the beautiful majolica clock is the first thing you notice.

The town is clearly a favourite tourist destination; at times it was heaving, so unless you love the crowds, I'd avoid peak summer! It was wonderful just to walk around the town, bars/restaurants/hotels aplenty, but great to get away from it all by an hour+ walk to a more secluded couple of beaches.
Our boat trip to Positano and Amalfi was a highlight; we chose the more expensive 12-passenger option with an informative, friendly guide and experienced skipper; we couldn't face being one of many on one of the bigger boats, but each to their own.
A guided hike along part of the Path of the Gods was fabulous too. It was very overcast, so the views weren't so spectacular for us, but it was still a magical experience. Again, pick your times as it can be more like the 'highway of the Gods' as our guide suggested.
It was a more expensive holiday than I had first planned, but we went with it, enjoying the heat, the sunshine, the friendly people, the great Mediterranean food and drink.

Sorrento provides an excellent water gateway to the Amalfi coast, Capri, Ischia and Naples as well as land access to the Archeological sites in the area. Road access to Naples airport has lots of traffic and delays to the airport can cost you with missing your flight.
Sorrento setting is beautiful but the center is extremely touristy, a common issue with many picturesque towns and villages in Europe but it is a reasonable alternative to staying in Naples.
There is a train to Naples that stops at various points along the way from Sorrento but we didn’t use it. Hotels on the hills above the town with their magnificent views are somewhat isolated from the center and are not easily accessible without an expensive taxi or a frequently running hotel-provided shuttle.
But as long as you understand the issues of getting around a stay in Sorrento can be very enjoyable.

We loved Sorrento, especially the old town with all the lovely shops and little alleyways.
Sorrento is quite small when your accomodation is located in the old town, everything will be less than a 8 minute walk away, and it is very easy to get around.
The food was incredible, we recommend Semola Pasta, Radical for a nice breakfast, Bellevue Sirene for a romantic dinner in front of an unbeatable ocean view. For ice cream we recommend Raki. Food wise in Sorrento you can't go wrong, truffle pasta, pizza and gelato are available!
The town itself is like a postcard. You will see lemon trees, bougainvilliers and orange trees in every corner.
May/early June is a good time to visit, otherwise with the heat it becomes less enjoyable.
The hotel is very close to the bus/ train station and to Downtown Sorrento.
Very polite and helpful staff. Everything in the room was made for convenience and looked classy.
Great blinds, totally blocking outside light. When open, plenty of natural light.
The internet was very good also.
I don't speak Italian and enjoyed the CNN channel on the TV.
None of the other hotels I stayed in Italy had it.
The breakfast is delivered to the room on the very minutes you requested.
I was very happy there and would love to stay again.
Everything was wonderful. Cristina and Vittorio are great hosts, most accommodating and helpful. The aircon was already on when we arrived so the room was beautiful and cool. Cristina was so helpful with everything we needed and gave us lots of tips and ideas, even for other parts of Italy we were travelling to. Breakfast was great flexible to our needs. The location is central and very close to the Sorrento port. The cleanliness is the best I’ve had. It really was like a home away from home
It is hard to imagine better place of Apartment localisation. We treated Sorrento as a point to explore this part of Italy (Amalfi Coast) and it was great decision. Apartment is very close to the buses and trains as well as to the main street in Sorrento with very rich offer of shops and restaurants. Room was very clean and design of room looked better in live than on the pictures. Host was very kind, helpful and responsive in any cases. Plus for keyless access to the room.
Fairly decent size room, breakfast selection was very good, lots of choice and all fresh.
Location was good, about a 5 minute walk and you could easily be on the main strips of Sorrento where you have your bars/restaurant
Bathroom is a good size and shower was best we had used in Italy during our stay, wasn't as weak as the others we had used already.
Very easy to check in and out, again compared to some of the others we had used during our time in Italy.
In our trip around Italy this was my favourite stay. The hotel itself is pleasant with a light and relaxed Sorrento-style decor and ambiance. Eating breakfast out on the terrace overlooking Sorrento and the bay was the highlight of my holiday. The hourly and free hotel bus into and back from Sorrrento makes it well worth considering this hotel even if it is a 10-15 minute journey from the centre of Sorrento.
It's the apartment hotel with "THE VIEW". The free shuttle to Sorrento was great. Very friendly staff. Our youngest son asked "How can this only be a three star?" The pool was great for the kids. The first night we just took the offer to eat at their restaurant. It was almost the best meal we had in Italy. If we weren't going to Pompeii we would have extended our stay.
The location is amazing, it’s easy to access ferries and we think Sorrento is the perfect base for this part of Italy. The accommodation feels very personal and the detail in everything is brilliant. The bed was by far the most comfortable we have had on our travels, the room is cleaned daily, it’s relaxing and the breakfast is a great way to start the day.
The BEST place we have ever stayed whilst we were travelling around Italy. It is about a 20 minute walk from Sorrento port, the host was so lovely and helped us organise our trip to Capri! I couldn't open a bottle of Prosecco as the cork had sunk and she was great with helping us out. Such a lovely lady that made the stay worth it!
After travelling around Italy staying in many different accommodation I can say that this place have the best hosts. Gilberto and Sara were very accommodating and went above and belond for guests. Located 20 min to sorrento so it is essential to hire motorbike or get used to buses. But a beautiful place with amazing view
It was very clean, and had an amazing view!! Simone was very communicative and nice the entire stay. We were exhausted from traveling in other parts of Italy but when we reached here we were able to fully recover. Patricia the lady who helps clean was also very nice and does a great job everyday.
Loved everything about this place! Beautiful little B&B. Short 10 minute walk to Sorrento center. Vanna and Mario are the most gracious hosts. Breakfast was excellent. Probably the best B&B we stayed at on our month long journey through Italy!
These wonderful people, we felt like we were visiting good friends. We will ALWAYS stay with them when we return to Italy. They were the best! We did invite them to our house in San Diego, CA. Oh, and the breakfast, wonderful!!!!!
Excellent place - very spacious, gentle host, modern... best place in the whole Italy trip by far. I would go there every time. Location is the only caveat (maybe 4-5 blocks away from the Sorrento center, but nothing too bad)
These rooms were so spacious and easy walking distance to the downtown. This was very convenient, the only downside was that in Italy they stay up late and it was a bit noisy most nights but other than that all was wonderful
Amazing stay in Sorrento and Amalfi coast; Paula is an amazing host . Apartment very central in Sorrento and very clean . We stayed 1 month in Italy, this was by far our best accommodation!
Grazie Paula
