We liked everything, and had a very good relax in a quiet location after a long drive. Mosquito nets are especially useful in summer. The house is furnished very nicely and with a good taste. Terrace outside is great... if you are not afraid of mosquitoes :)
Albergo Italia is in central Novara, 215 yards from the cathedral and just over half a mile from Novara train station. Rooms at the Italia hotel are air-conditioned and have a minibar.

The town itself is not too special, but the surrounding area was a big and pleasant surprise. There are several lovely restaurants, a massive outlet mall, country lanes running through endless fields of corn, sunflowers and greenery. Some of the Northern lakes are nearby too. Novara is a lovely town to visit from here too.
A little oasis of calm with the hotel set around a courtyard with the pool in the centre. We stayed at this hotel as stopover between Cannes and home in Switzerland and enjoyed a lovely afternoon with our two kids around the pool. Bar service at pool was great with some good snacks as we were hungry when we arrived. The food in the restaurant where we ate in the evening was exceptional.
The hotel was located in a lovely setting - much history and the pool and surrounds very nice. Massimo was outstanding - providing a great service at the pool, at dinner and the following morning at breakfast. We thought the restaurant was very good and a great breakfast too. We appreciated that the property was dog friendly.
