We had a wonderful time at Dosses. The hotel team was probably the best part. We felt that every team member went above and beyond making our stay truly special and accommodating every request, from reception to restaurant (Edoardo, Leonardo, Luca, thank you again for everything!), to bar, to spa (we got very relaxing massages), to shuttle (thanks, Teodor!), to housekeeping. The location was quiet (the hotel is above a road but it's not busy) and close to several lifts with access to the Sella Ronda. The hotel provides a private shuttle service which runs daily between the 3 closest lifts, it takes 2-3 minutes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was a gourmet, truly exquisite experience, both breakfasts and dinners. We didn't expect that the hotel would serve afternoon snacks as well - super convenient after a day of skiing. The spa facilities were great too, and they have adults-only times every day.
We greatly enjoyed our vacation and would stay at Dosses again. Highly recommend!

We walked from Garni de Chalet to a local restaurant that was very good. This town had two restaurants but a short drive or bus ride to Ortisei provided many more options to eat.

Santa Cristina, located in the heart of Val Gardene is a very good starting point for hikes, bike rides or just cruising in the Dolomites. I've been to quite a few places in the Alps, but I woudl say that the Dolomites beats them all.

It is a lovely town in the Dolomites, we choose to stay there as it was close to the area we wanted to ski. Unfortunately, as we went out of season most of the restaurants were closed, so we did not have the chance to try any. But as the town is located between Ortisei and Selva di Val Gardena, which are bigger places and close to Santa Christina, we had dinner there.
Crossing the middle of the town there is an old tunnel in which some historical facts about the town are explained.

Santa Cristina is a very nice town for a skiing holiday.
Santa Cristina is a very nice town for a skiing holiday. Seems to be a good mix of Italy and Tirol. Good food available everywhere but as well some tiroler apres ski! Town is a great base and good connection into the Dolomiti superski arena. Town has a few supermarkets, some nice restaurants and even a good place to do your daily afternoon Apres-Ski.

I liked the hotel, friendly staff, fulfilled all requests. The rooms are cool, the batteries are cold in the morning, but this is the case everywhere in Italy. The water is also not hot enough, it needs to be passed for a long time. We left in a hurry and left the jewelry, called the hotel, told them and asked them to find it, we knew exactly where the two rings were, but the staff did not find anything, although we indicated the exact location. This overshadowed the whole vacation , two wedding rings remained at the hotel.
It was our first time in this area, and it was mind blowing! The nature, the vibe, everything!
And this hotel was AWESOME! One of our best hotel experiences we had ever!
Highly recommended! The vibe in the hotel, very very kind staff, restaurant with very reasonable prices, AMAZING breakfast. The facilities were one of the best, very clean and quiet rooms. EVERYTHING was perfect!
Also, in the checkin they gave us a free transportation ticket which covers all the region! We will definitely come back!
A generational family hotel, everything is immaculate. Such lovely decor, and the beds and duvets are super comfy too.
The family who run the hotel make you feel at home, and you certainly get that personal touch.
