The location was the biggest draw card for us. We didn’t need luxury because we planned to be out exploring. Porto Conte was clean, the family who run it do a brilliant job looking after guests and the breakfast was generous and fresh. I highly recommend it as a neat and tidy base to recharge before the next day’s adventures!
I really liked the slightly remote location. It’s a 10 minute drive from the sandy beaches and Porto Conte park, about 20 minutes to Alghero, but it’s cut off from the noise making it very peaceful. The house is lovely, large garden, beautiful porch - perfect for easy mornings and chill evenings. Caterina and her husband were great hosts - they were there for anything I needed and served up breakfast at the agreed time out on the porch. Ricotta with honey was absolutely amazing
Very nice, quiet and relaxing place. Location was perfect, nearby you have a nice clean beach with few good places to eat. Also very close to other attractions to explore (Alghero, Capo Caccia and all places around the bay). The breakfast was good, healthy, especially the homemade cakes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice facility around. Kids can play with cats and dogs and you can fill like you nearly part of the family. Highly recommended.
very near airport but you’d never know it ! i especially liked that the owner had a great detailed list of the best restaurants in Alghero and the neighboring communities that were based on his and his customers experience - the owner always had time to be helpful - property is in a quiet small community about 10-15 min drive from Alghero with some nice beaches nearby
The setting was brilliant. Vines full of grapes all over. Very relaxing and 5 min. drive from an amazing beach.The restaurant was full every night serving traditional coastal Sardinian food. You pay a fixed price and the food just keeps coming. The make their own wine as well. They were very helpful in providing vegetarian dishes which are less traditional.
The location, Alghero is only 15 min away with car. Nice agriturismos and even a winery closeby. The hotel beds were magnificent. tidy rooms, free parking, sea view from the balcony. The bartender was fun and served us very cool drinks with a smile. A nice lady from the reception helped us with a door problem we had.
Alessandro was very welcoming and accommodating. Location is super, few km from alghero city center and just few minutes walk from the beach. If someone doesn't have a car, there is a bus stop few meters from home. The breakfast was rich with many options. And most important Aless

We stayed in a junior suite. The room had a balcony and an absolutely amazing view to the bay. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a nice selection of fresh fruit, eggs, cheeses, bread, and great coffee. Hotel El Faro was definitely the perfect way to finish our honeymoon trip around Sardinia.

The location was amazing. The beach adjacent is one of the nicest beaches we visited in Sardinia. The coastline up from the campsite made for a very nice hike. The pool is well kept and the bar/ restaurant was well stocked with enough variety.
