The breakfasts were lovely, outdoors by menu. The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue.
La Depandance is located in the town of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Via Nicolaci Infiorata of Noto, a street covered with mosaics, is a 5-minute walk away.

This is a beautiful, restored property with gardens, a pool, a lovely courtyard, nice dining room and a fabulous breakfast space and breakfast itself. The dinner was delicious! The view and setting were amazing! Our room was gorgeous with a stone wall at the head of the bed. They were very accommodating and helpful.

Noto was very nice. We went to dinner in Noto one night but just had pizza. It was good. Watching the action along the main street was great. A very nice local saw us struggling to figure out how to pay for parking and he kindly walked us over to the kiosk and helped us out. There was an open air market that was fun and had great food items.
Saw a beautiful sunset through the gates of the town. Lovely!
We were only there for one evening and I think that was sufficient to see everything we wanted to.

Noto is simply beautiful.
Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.
This place was the best! Super clean, very well designed with exceptional finishes. The pictures do not tell the whole amazing story. We felt very lucky to have stayed in this quiet lovely spot. Serena our host was exceptional in her recommendations and her service. Breakfast was delicious. She is full of joy and love and clearly is happy to host her guests. It’s a bit of a walk to the main area and then back uphill but seriously if you are going to be eating in Sicily, you’d best put on some good shoes and get your steps in.
The villa is very well located, very close to the main center (a short walk), with private parking for your car and very helpful personnel. It's a family business and they're here all the time to help you and answer your questions. The biggest surprise was for us the breakfast that we got there, it was done almost with all private ingredients, homemade marmalades, delicious sandwiches made with local ingredients in one word EPIC, the best breakfast we got in the whole Sicily, totally recommend :)
amazing location and a beautiful building ! many thoughtful touches in the room as well - it was a gorgeous room with really interesting art and a lot of space. The owner and staff went above and beyond and helped us organize transport and various activities. The owner herself even offered to give us a ride to the next town in our trip and gave us many tips about what to do and see. We had a wonderful time and Palazzo Tasca was a true highlight of our time on Sicily!
Antonio is the best host in Sicily. He was so kind, gentle and helpful.
He arranged a free parking place for the car, which was a headache for me in many cities in Sicily.
The house was lovely, clean and comfortable.
The equipment was new and high quality.
You can find everyhing you need: iron, iron board, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, etc.
Location was perfect. 5 minutes to everywhere.
Possibly the best stay in our entire Sicily trip! From the start, Luca welcomed us in a very friendly way, gave us with a tour of the beautiful garden and then provided us with a list of places to eat, one of which (the pizzeria) was mindblowingly good. The glamping tent was setup well and very comfortable. And of course the best thing about it all - the sound of birds as you wake up in fresh air.
The pictures don't do this place justice. It feels like being in a relaxed designer home. The property and accommodations are beautiful and the staff is very kind. Definitely plan to take advantage of the pool and rent a car using this as your home base to visit Noto, Ortigia, Syracusa, and the many other nearby areas.
Everything was perfect!!! Very nice room and bathroom, everything is new, modern but at the same time with a lot of details from Sicilian culture and history. And the breakfast! A journey trough Sicily, everything delicious. Thank you Corrada for your extraordinary hospitality!
The staff was very helpful. We arrived late and Sergio was waiting and even brought our luggage upstairs. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful and may be enjoyed inside or outside. The property is beautiful and close to Noto but quiet and peaceful! Worth every cent.
The garden and pool are impeccable and stunning, rooms were big and everything was very well maintained and clean on the in- and outside. Also host Paulo was very helpfull. We had a great time in this peacefull region of Sicily between the lemon- and olivetrees!
Fabrizio and bis team were friendly, informative and kind.
The villa is very well laid out and is very well maintained. Everything works!
Breakfast was excellent.
Restaurant recommendations were great.
Excellent base to explore the SE region of Sicily.
The most amazing place to go to and enjoy Sicily. Hard to describe the atmosphere, view and the food with words. The fact that it’s a hotel with only 5 rooms, top top service and the most spectacular view and amenities makes it an amazing experience.
The terrace was like a little piece of paradise with beautiful views across Noto. Also one of the best breakfasts we had during three weeks in Italy. We were also lucky in securing free parking outside the hotel.
picture perfect interior decoration. clean. comfortable beds. fantastic location in the historical center of Noto to enjoy the many restaurants. well located to discover the south east. of Sicily.
Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place and so close to Noto. Staff was easy to communicate with and responsive. Breakfast was minimal and not really worth the cost but very convenient.
Perfect new hotel one block from the great Duomo and main baroque street of Noto. Fine staff, rooms, breakfast. 150 feet from really great creative pizzeria, too. No complaints.
This place is amazing, it really was like having your little bit of Sicily for a few days. Stunning apartment in a great location. Noto was beautiful too.
