The staff were very friendly & helpful despite us both not speaking Italian! The apartment we had was spacious & very clean. Location great for driving to Chianti & train to Arezzo and Florence. Montevarchi itself had some great places to eat & nice friendly bars too, without being a busy tourist centre.

Montevarchi is a wonderful Tuscany town with a lot of character, clean city. Definitely worth stopping. Go to the piazza and meet the locals and have a coffee with them.

We came to Montevarchi especially from the recommendation of our friend to eat dinner at the restaurant "La Buca di Ipo". It was worth it. The kitchen is perfect. Pizza on a thin batter, completely different than Neapolitan. Zuppetta sensational, seafood too.

Montevarchi is well situated for visiting most of the gorgeous cities and towns of Tuscany and the stunning Tuscan scenery. We explored the Chianti region, Arrezo (defnitely worth a visit) Siena and Florence from Montevarchi. Montevarchi is a town which I would think would have most things available that people might need whilst on holidays.
We stayed for one night in the charming town of Montevarchi during our journey to Sicily. The room provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience, with its cleanliness and fantastic beds. Although the breakfast was not spectacular, it was still decent enough to fulfill our needs. If you are looking for a comfortable stopover in Montevarchi, this hotel is worth considering.
This is our second time staying at Villa Sassolini, the first time being in 2015. We really enjoyed our stay then and were hoping the property had not changed. When we arrived, we noticed that it had changed but for the better. The staff was extremely welcoming and courteous. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

The location is right in the picturesque main street of Montevarchi, close to a cute café for a cup of coffee and a gorgeous church on a piazza. There are also quite a few nice and affordable restaurants. The apartment is also rather large.
Fantastic location. Close to the station and centre of Montevarchi. Staff (Georgia) was extremely helpful and accommodating when I had travel problems. Little kitchenette for coffee or breakfast. I'd come back any time.
