The interior of the hotel is very beautiful - old-school and cozy. The parking place is perfect - available and comfortable. Stuff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast great 🙂
Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

Lake Misurina is on the way when you drive to the trailhead parking for Tre Cime from Cortina di'Ampesso. Stay overnight at the lakeside will be a good choice as you may have a fantastic sunrise view at the lakeside!

An ideal base for hiking Tre Cime Di Lavaredor. Driving to Rifugio Auronzo, the starting point of the hike takes only 15 to 20 minutes. If you don't have a car, there are buses travelling regularly from Misurina to Rifugio Auronzoto. Besides, Lake Misurina itself is beautiful in its own right.
The accommodation is located very conveniently on the side of the lake and surrounded by mountains so even though you dont have a room at the lake, you will for sure have a nice view to the mountains. The hosts were very helpful, we have an electric car and they provided a power plug so we could plug over night the car, also, even though we did not reserved a dinner table on time, they really tried to provide us a table. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable, for sure we will come back again.
The location was perfect - by the beautiful lake with amazing view on Tre Cime.
Private parking is a big benefit - it's hard to find a parking spot in Misurina.
It's in a walking distance from the busses to Tre Cime, so there's no need to wake up crazy early to be able to get to the trail around Tre Cime.
The stuff was very nice.
The apartment we had was spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms (kids had their own bunk bed - it was an attraction itself) and a leaving room. The bed was very comfortable.
I am satisfied with this stay. Fast check-in, very friendly staff. Room was clean, fast wi-fi, comfortable bed, really warm inside, TV with many channels if you want to watch something. Available restaurant downstairs. Location is nice, couple restaurants nearby and nice walk around Misurina lake. Room size was just fine and I liked wood and other small details. Comparing price - value of this stay, it's really nice and I would come back.
Super unique location, very close to Tre Cime for those who care to stay somewhere nearby. Much more quiet and chill compared to Lake Misurina that is 5 minutes away. Rooms were surprisingly modern, and very fresh and bright inside. Probably the best breakfasts we had in Italy as well - minus the broken automatic coffee machine but staff are happy to make ones from the espresso machine so not really a problem at all.
Great location ! It was a short 20 minute drive to the hike at Tre Cime. I was worried after reading other reviews, but we had a fantastic stay. Our room was large and comfortable. There was a great breakfast spread. The staff was very nice ! It is a little expensive but it’s very VERY reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We had a great stay and would choose this hotel again.

The chalet appeared to be newly refurbished,it was clean, comfortable & pleasant. It is positioned next to Lake Misurina in a picturesque location. Our apartment had a lovely view of the mountains. Ida (the Manager) was friendly and helpful. We thought it was excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.
Everything, it was like a dream! Amazing location on the lake Misurina (one of the few on the lake and for me, the best), friendly staff, clean, cozy and very quite rooms, tasty food at the restaurant. They have only 6 rooms, all of them with lake view. Quite close to the toll booth (casello) for tre cime.
The location is just stunning, right by the lake, beautiful sunsets and a very charming walk by the Misurina lake

The location of Rifugio col de Varda makes for exceptional views of the surrounding Dolomites and Lake Misurina. The rooms were very comfy, facilities were outstanding, and the staff were welcoming and provided a fantastic food service.
The hotel breakfast, considering the location and service, was the very best of any that I have ever had anywhere in the world. A delicious and large selection of items, excellent coffee, and top-notch service.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Nicely located in a private area with wonderful views of the lake and mountains. The hotel worked out perfectly for our needs - we could hike from the hotel itself.
The only chalet at the Antorno lake. We drove up the hill on a very small road to the hotel. it was really nice. loft style suite was comfy, it has large windows overlooking the snowing lake and the mountains
