Beautiful location near the mountains. Quaint town was beautiful. The hospitality was awesome. Breakfast was very tasty and there were a lot of choices. They were able to give me gluten free options which I really appreciated.
The town is a wonderful, typical Italian town. Off-season there's no crowds. Historical archtecture and climate. For me perfect location close to the mountains in the North and the fantastic jewels of European Culture in the South (Venice) - all within 1-2 hrs drive reach. There's a good number of restaurants, hotels, pizzerias, cafes in the town. Cozy. Friendly. Not too crowded (end of Sept).
Extremely clean! Incredibly kind staff. Mario, the owner / operator of the hotel goes above & beyond to make you feel at home. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. Mario so kindly assisted us with our luggage as well. You can feel the pride he takes in his property - both the hotel & restaurant.
The hotel is also located a 3 minute walk away from the Montereale Valcellina train station, which is a bonus!
This hidden gem btw Vajont and Maniago is the perfect place to spend quality time relaxing in Friuli.

Nice breakfast, lack of vegetables is the only thing i was missing. Very good coffee. The lady at the hotel together with her partner are great couple.
Room nice but lack of balcony in our case what is nit good when coming back with wet things from the beach. But of coursr there are roons with balcony for higher price.
I had two evenings at the hotel and found it exceptionally good.
Even though there was a wedding party in on the Saturday evening this did not affect the service and the quality that was offered to me by all the friendly staff.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is new and the room was nice and clean. Very close there is a nice and good pizzeria. The breakfast was super. I had the view of the mountains from my windows
