Comfortable family run place. Very authentic alpine lodge. Family works very hard. Rooms was large and comfortable with balcony and spacious bathroom. A lot of hanging and storage space. Breakfast was good and so was dinner. Loved the local wine selection, especially gewurztraminer. When we arrived, we were concerned about the summer heat with no air conditioning, but even the hottest midday heat was barely felt and the evenings were very cool.

Very good breakfast. It starts at 7 am - really benefits the travelers who need an early start.
Good location. Just follow the brick pathway in front of the Bahnhof. It's better than the route google shows you.

Chiusa/Klausen was incredibly charming and this hotel made us feel right at home. The room was clean and cozy. The restaurant was very enchanting, we highly recommend making reservations for a delicious dinner in a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was also well balanced. A great location to explore the western dolomites and especially the Saben Abbey just above the hotel.

Everything! The location was a good vantage point from Ortisei, Seceda, and Val di Funes (for Adolf Munkel hike)
Absolutely INCREDIBLE breakfast (included) - better than the included breakfast at the 5 star hotel we went to next.
Comfortable, firm bed

Beautiful surroundings. Excellent dinner and very good breakfast. We did alright getting up to the location, but I could see some Americans who are unaccustomed to driving through tight switchbacks and small drives having concern getting to the location. That being said, it was one of our favorite stays and definitely our favorite dinner throughout our 2.5 week Italy trip. Highly recommend
