The staff, vibe, and resort were excellent. Being within walking distance from the beach and having an area reserved for us there was fantastic. Also close to the resort we could visit small towns and plenty of local restaurants to try a different tastes.

Beach was fabulous however the area is remote eg nothing within walking distance and no shops so if you need water/ snacks/ batteries/ cigarettes/ sun cream/ repellent, you will need a car
The hotel area is very well maintained. All staff were super friendly, really fast and helpful during lunch, dinner and also in the beach club. The best one is the bartender in the beach club, not quite sure about his name ("Andreo" possibly), really enjoyed ordering drinks in there. Reserved beach beds are big plus, so you don't have to rush anywhere. I would also highlight the food, we had a full board and there was always something delicious. Lots of sea food, grill, pasta.
This was our 4th stay at St Elmo and it was better than ever, With a new modernised high quality supermarket on site and an excellent beach bar offering great service, value food and drink. The apartment was spacious with wonderful sea views. Nearby Costa Rei has a good selection of restaurants & bars. The resort also has a new manager who provides an excellent guide to local activities, restaurants and excursions.
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Very relaxing, intimate and beautiful. The food at the restaurants was also tasty. The staff were friendly and polite. There are so many stunning beaches near by as well to visit. I would recommend traveling here with a car if you don’t want to stay at the resort all day. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice house: 3 bedrooms, possibility to barbecue, air conditioning was very valuable, beautiful garden and very quiet location, very nice shaded terrace, well equipped kitchen, nice decorations, several fantastic beaches are reachable in only 10-20 minutes by car, the host Federico was always available and responded to questions immediately.
The place is great, the beach is heaven, the food and wine list are excellent, but what really makes the Villa del Re unforgettable is the staff.
They are one of the very best hotel staff in Europe for sure, and probably in the world.
Without them we would be trying other resorts in Sardegna, but we keep coming back to that gem in Castiadas.
Lovely quiet spot, beautiful mountain view and pool. Close to many of the wonderful beaches of Costa Rei and Viilasimius. Much more spacious grounds than many houses we saw at the beach. Host welcoming on arrival and happy to help / answer questions. Typical Sardinian holiday house. Owners live upstairs in the summer.
The service was exceptional, all staff professional , pleasant and ready to help with a smile. Food at the restaurants very good . A special mention goes to Matteo at the Bella Vista Restaurant, who asked the chef to prepare a dish specifically for us.

Beautiful, well equipped and clean villa surronded by mountains, with nice pool and terrace. Everything you need for a perfect holidays. Good location - near the best beaches of South Sardinia, also quite close to Cagliari.

breakfast was very good with fresh cooked food to order , lots of choice . pool was clean and well managed , villas resort is low level and spread across gardens , in natural stone very pretty .
Unbelievable staff & service. I will never use Booking.com again as we were trapped in a catch 22 between hotel & booking when trying to make any changes - but the hotel is incredible.
Beautiful location, exceptional service and delicious food. It is one of the best hotels my husband and I have ever been to and we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely 10/10.
