We loved this property. It was conveniently located near Lago di Braies. The room was so cozy and welcoming. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. We didn’t have a chance to use the wellness center but checked it out and it looked awesome. The breakfast was good, they even offered me a Gluten Free bun upon request. We would stay here again.

Roland and Melanie, as well as Maria and their other cook friend, are wonderful people. My friends and I did not want to leave. The farm to table food was incredible, we were a 10 minute drive from Lago di Braies, and the view… WOW!!! Not to mention their adorable dog, Mascha. The whole crew was so sweet and helpful when one of my friends had a dental emergency. They are reminders there is still plenty of good in the world. It was our favorite stay of our two week vacation.

The location was perfect for Lago Di Braies. The farm-fresh breakfast was absolutely amazing with the restaurant in town also one of my children’s favorites.

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts.
For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear.

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.
Hotel is located right next to entrance of Prato Piazza so the view was excellent. You have the feeling of "camping in the woods" but with luxury of hotel. We stayed here 3 nights and visited Lago de Braies, Tre Cime and Prato Piazza while staying here you can visit these locations and still have time to relax. Staff was very helpful, but you might need to wait a little or try a few times to reach them :) but eventually you ll get all the help you need. Breakfast and dinner was also very very good.

Only 5 mins driving away from the Braies Lake. This is the ideal location if you want to wake up a sunrise time to watch the changing lake reflection photo ops at the lake. Did all that and come back to the hotel for breakfast. The staffs are extremely accommodating. Because we visited during the in between seasons, we are the only guest at the inn. Still, they prepared a full menu of breakfast just for the three of us and did not cut corners.
What a gem! The hotel is situated in the picturesque hills on the road leading up to Lago di Braies, right off a bus stop from the nearby village of Villabassa/Niederdorf. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff very friendly, and the restaurant great (we ate dinner there two nights). Easy to get to Lago di Braies from here, either hiking the 20 minute trail directly behind the hotel or catching the bus. Highly recommended.
Very pleasant owners, as soon as we arrived they explained everything to us, where we could have dinner, gave instructions for hiking trails...
the breakfast was too good, relaxed atmosphere... just the right vacation! surroundings full of hiking trails, good position of the house, Lago di Braies very close by car 5 minutes or by path about 1.5 hours..about 30 minutes for the Lago Misurina..

Great location, you are at 5min away from the Lago di Braies. What I loved the most about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. One morning we wanted to spot the sunrise so we couldn't eat breakfast at the hotel so the lady of the hotel prepared us some coffee and tea in a thermos + even a take-away breakfast so we could eat breakfast while watching the sunrise. This was adorable. I recommend this hotel!
The location was perfect for Lago de Braies and about a 45 minute drive from Lago de Sorapis. The room is situated in a very relaxing small town, and the ranch has very beautiful scenery and animals. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome with fantastic water pressure and a large space. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was delicious. Overall great stay.
The hotel is in a very quiet and beatiful place, 5 minutes by car and 20 min walking from Lago di Braies. The staff is super nice and always giving good advices about activites in the area. The food served in the restaurant is good and with generous portions to recover forces after trekking!
The appartments were very clean, well equipped for a family with toddler like us. We even got additional bed for baby. We enjoyed the quiet nights, the Lago di Braies was 5 min drive from the location, the hosts were helpful, non intrusive, everything was perfect. Highly reccommended!
it was a pleasure to stay here with Anka & Claus. the room was fresh, clean, and tasteful. the breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, yogurts, fruit, and more. the setting among the mountains and close by Lake Braies was perfect. The excellent pizza restaurant nearby delicious!
The location is amazing, 10 minutes away from Lake Brais. There is a delicious restaurant in the Hotel. Christian the guy in the reception also in the restaurant is very friendly and helpful special thanks to him 🫶🏻

Would highly recommend. Exceptionally clean, welcoming, and an unbeatable location. An easy to navigate, 10 minute bus ride to the start of Alta Via 1/ Lago di braies. Owners were wonderful, breakfast was great, and the views were exceptional.
