The Ferraioli is a charming building from the early 20th century in Atrani, a pretty fisherman's village just outside Amalfi. The themed rooms are named and styled after famous movie actresses.

It was super clean and beautiful and very close to the town of Amalfi and many restaurants right under the hotel! Front desk girls were so kind and helpful with everything and Carlo was so helpful as well!

The building is an old monastery from the 1200s with a beautiful cloister. The staff was very warm and welcoming and happily accommodated our every need. The bar and restaurant are stunning with views to match. Cocktails were served in the cloister during one of our evenings there. The pool area with access to the sea is incredible. The restaurant above the pool serves excellent food and, again, the staff was amazing! Views, views, and more views! We stayed in their two bedroom “special” suite (including private elevator) since we had two of our teenagers with us. The view from its terrace may be one of the best in town, complete with an electric retractable sunshade.
Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, family-run Il Barilotto offers air-conditioned rooms with a terrace and sea views. Located 2.5 mi from Positano, it comes with free Wi-Fi.
This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it. Out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but just a ten minute walk to get there. The piazza in Atrani has a good selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming is at hand and very safe. It is such a beautiful little town, its locals are friendly and will answer any questions. Note, the Sidi bus schedule does not run to normal schedule on public holidays like All Saints’ Day. Information around public transport can be difficult to find out so do your research before leaving home.

Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to some of the other villages. The buses went straight past the apartment or you could catch from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are fabulous, Savo and A'Paranza were our favourites. The little shops in the Square provided fruit, fish, bread, water, drinks and there was a fabulous little gelati shop. But most of all we loved a little cafe that we went to every afternoon for drinks, that was right on the water. Bar Nettuno is run by Andrew and is a great spot to chill out and watch the boats come and go.

The area falls in the centre of Amalfi.
The area falls in the centre of Amalfi. Everything was really close from here. Surroundings were very pretty and touristy as well. Location was perfect :) just sad that we only found Italian cuisine here. (since I’m a vegetarian ) so got a bit tired of eating pastas and pizzas for every meal :(

Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi. It has a beach but you can also got to the amalfi by walk. There is a tunnel between amalfi and atrani 900 meters long. and also atrani has a little square includes market, bar, restoran. And also there is a michelin guided restoran there. we have experienced and it was really lovely.

We arrived in Salerno from Rome.
We arrived in Salerno from Rome. We thought we would be able to get a taxi/Uber to Atrani, but there were not any available. The easiest way was to take the ferry, which took about 35 minutes and it was a pretty view during the ride!
Leaving Atrani, we took van early in the morning and the winding roads made two of our three kids car sick, so the ferry is way to go if possible and is way cheaper.
Overall, Atrani was good and we enjoyed our time there. Most restaurants do not open for dinner until around 19:30, so if you have young kids it is good to keep in mind! It is easy to walk around throughout Almafi and Atrani.

Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip.
Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip. It’s walking distance to the buzzing and touristy Amalfi, but it’s quiet, local, and quaint. There are amazing restaurants a cute beach and all you need while still being close and connected to the rest of the coast. I really recommend it.
La casa di Carmela is a very sweet place to stay in Atrani. The view from the window is simply stunning, we just loved it sipping a glass of local wine. In the house there is everything you need, we particularly liked the bedroom furniture where there is a different view of the town. We met a young lady at the arrival who was very helpful and kind. We recommend La casa di Carmela as great alternative to the busy Amalfi, which by the way is only 6 minutes walking.
Atrani was a great location away from the crowds in Amalfi. We enjoyed shopping at the local markets and spending time at the beach. The apartment was very spacious, and the terraces were a bonus and offered a lovely space to enjoy the view and some quite time after a hectic day of sightseeing. Although somewhat dated, this only added to the charm and did not detract from the quality of our stay.
Amazing location in the lovely little village of Atrani, yet close to Amalfi. The bed and breakfast has been renovated to very high standards. The rooms are very comfortable. Sonia, the owner, was brilliant and helped us organise our walks. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and delicious. The spacious terrace was definitely a bonus!
I really like the hotel vibe and the staff were super nice and helpful.
Carlo helped with my super heavy bag even if I told him it was ok. Bravissimo. And Carmela at the front desk was una gioia and Patrícia at the hotel bar super talkative and funny. I really love it the room they gave to me. The views were stunning
An amazing place in a brilliant location, the room was lovely and spacious. Couldn’t fault anything about it. The breakfast was great and the owner was so nice. Short walk to a stunning beach and a lot of nice restaurants.
Only a short walk to Amalfi as well but we loved Atrani more.
The apartment is very spacious, we were 4 adults and could move around easily. It is very well equipped with a fully functional kitchen. You get a nice view of the cliffs and the town of Atrani from the balcony and windows. The port of Amalfi can be reached in 15 mins by foot.
Adjacent to the main road with minimal to no stairs, easy access with key lockbox, great value. Facilities are not modern but we actually just needed a bed. For the price (half the price than the cheapest amalfi hotel) we would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful rooftop view, Atrani was a perfect place to stay, only 10min walk from Amalfi but away from the crowds.
The apartment is not too far from the beach, we easily walked from the Amalfi ferry through the tunnel to Atrani with our luggage.
The location is steps from the beach. Atrani was a nice quiet town with walking distance to Amalfi but without all the crowds. Sonia, the proprietor, was amazing! She went above and beyond in attending to us. The breakfast was delicious!
The views were spectacular and it was walking distance to Amalfi and Atrani square with good restaurants and shopping, oh and a beach. Also the place was very clean and we had breakfast brought to us every day by a very pleasant lady.
Other then the never ending stairs …. The room was very dusty and humid with a smell …. The bed was not clean and wet
Stayed in Italy for a month and this was the only place that made us homesick the most cause of the environment ….
The space was huge and had everything that we needed. it was also super clean, new and fresh.
Also great view from the balcony with not too many steps like normal Amalfi coast places.
We liked the cleanliness of the hotel. Really the room, corridors and garden were very clean. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also very good. Mr Alfonso is a helpful person.
Absolutely amazing place to stay in Atrani. Very comfortable, clean, absolutely amazing location. Antonella was very helpful and was always happy to
help and support.
The location was in a wonderful, quiet area just a short walk from the beach. With an amazing view and comfortable accommodations it couldn’t have been better!
