The area offers a variety of interesting places and history. With delicious snacks and drinks in the city center, it's easy to get around all day. There are buses and cabs that connect you well on land and water. But you can also rent a bike. Lots of green and blue, incredibly beautiful gardens, temples and simply untouched nature. The small town centers are full of traditional crafts and stores for shopping. exciting architecture and temples, mosques or a museum are not far away. The people are all very nice and can show you the way if you get too lost.

I have wanted to visit Kashmir for 30 years,it did not disappoint.Shrinagar is an excellent base to visit the surrounding towns.The locals were friendly,helpful and engaging.Most of them spoke some English and often thanked us for visiting.I felt honoured to be there and highly recommend a visit as soon as possible.I will return!

We enjoyed the cold weather & little snow in Sonmarg & Gulmarg. Gondola phase 2 ride was cancelled due to technical issue. It was bit dispointment. In Sonmarg & Gulmarg, we have to bargain more with goda wala & snow sports.
If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in Srinagar I will blindly recommend you Valley holidays 😊. The staff's are friendly and helpful. I did a mistake that I had booked my package with another travels already before booking Valley holidays. Our package was a hell and Mr. Muneer from Valley holidays offered a great package which we missed and really regret it. If you book with Valley holidays, you are getting a nice stay and proper guidance also.
Staying in this hostel was absolutely beautiful, calm, and peaceful. Surrounded by mountain chains from three sides, with a mesmerizing view of Dal Lake from the balcony, it was truly enchanting. Additionally, the staff was very helpful, and the hotel was impeccably clean. The heating arrangement was also good with room heater and hot water bottles provided Definitely value for the money. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hostel."

Our stay was perfect , neat and clean rooms properly insulated . Meals were fantastic being vegetarian they served delicious dishes out of the menu .luckily met with the owner as well. One of the best Hotel in Srinagar. I searched a lot online about the hotel but still after checking only a few reviews I chose the hotel . Its a new build hotel.
