The area offers a variety of interesting places and history. With delicious snacks and drinks in the city center, it's easy to get around all day. There are buses and cabs that connect you well on land and water. But you can also rent a bike. Lots of green and blue, incredibly beautiful gardens, temples and simply untouched nature. The small town centers are full of traditional crafts and stores for shopping. exciting architecture and temples, mosques or a museum are not far away. The people are all very nice and can show you the way if you get too lost.

I have wanted to visit Kashmir for 30 years,it did not disappoint.Shrinagar is an excellent base to visit the surrounding towns.The locals were friendly,helpful and engaging.Most of them spoke some English and often thanked us for visiting.I felt honoured to be there and highly recommend a visit as soon as possible.I will return!

We enjoyed the cold weather & little snow in Sonmarg & Gulmarg. Gondola phase 2 ride was cancelled due to technical issue. It was bit dispointment. In Sonmarg & Gulmarg, we have to bargain more with goda wala & snow sports.
I recently had a brilliant stay at Grand Zamin Resort in Srinagar, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's warm hospitality and attention to detail.
The hotel's location in Srinagar was convenient, with easy access to major attractions and transportation. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. They were always available to assist with any inquiries or requests I had.
boathouse were friendly and we spent a very good time with them. They are keen to share their experiences, stories with you if you're likely to listen and willing to spend some time with them. Food was good and homely food . They will try to make things comfortable as much as possible.. And not to forget, amazing view from the boathouse front balcony, you just won't feel like leaving that place and that view for hours . Airport service was provided without any problems. We checked in at 2 pm it was our parents 50th anniversary. The hygiene was superb . Beautiful view, Amazing hospitality, food was tasty. Both Abid and Aamir caretakers were superb and took good care of us. Owner of the Houseboat Umar Bhai is a amazing person and very well in Communication. All the rooms Facility is good. I would highly recommend this Houseboat without any doubt. I would love to be stay again in this House boat only. It's in Dal Lake in Srinagar. Very peaceful area.

Very Homely stay. It's more than an accommodation and the hotel felt like a home and people are feeling like a family. The guy Abrar helped me to plan my entire Srinagar itinerary for my family trip. The rooms were exquisite and comfortable. The housekeeping services were great. Receptionist very humble and nice. We booked by mistake 3 nights, but we wanted only 2 nights, what we realized at the checkout. They where unbelievable helpful and didn't charge the 3rd night, what was our mistake 🙏🙏We are really thankful, if we come back to Srinagar, we will only stay at Hotel Green Rooms.
