I had a relaxing stay in The Oberoi Grand. The best part of this hotel is the staff. Each staff is professional, friendly and hospitable. Their attention to detail is impressive, one instance was that while I was having dinner alone one of the staff offered me some magazines so I wouldn't get bored. There were many other instances when the staff took great care of me. The room was clean, comfortable and historic. It is centrally located, easy to go out and explore Kolkata. The swimming pool in the hotel was quite nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious.
