At har ki podi attend ganga aarti. It was very blissfull. Local auto & taxi need to be more helpfull & transperent. Missed ola & uber services. If u r travelling u have to bargain with local transporters.

A great place. You can feel the heart beat of pious hindu sentiment here. Do not miss the Ganga Arti. The high point of Haridwar. Ganga is the main and only attraction here.
If you are not a devout follower of Mansa Devi, do not go to this place. It is not tourist friendly and overcrowded.

Great place and great vibe! Of course there are a lot of people because it is a holy place, but the ganga arti in the evening, the temples in the city add to such a majestic and peaceful vibes. Loved it.

Haridwar is a must one time visit.
Haridwar is a must one time visit. If you are not visiting for any specific purpose or it’s your first visit, strictly avoid any religious festival. It is very very crowded at those times. There are many places to visit nearby so plan for 3-4 days. Har ki peri, Mansa devi temple,Chandi devi temple , Rishikesh are some places to visit not to miss Ganga Arti at Har ki peri. Try Halwa from Mohan Poori wala at Har ki peri.
Dear sir yesterday I was coming from badrinath to haridwar .I inform manager at about 330 pm that my vehicle fixed in Jam near Rishikesh. But I am 100% coming and check in .I reached shiv murty circle and asked the direction for K K Renuka. He replied I have sold to other customers .dear I requested now time is 8 pm where I will search the hotel his manager behavior was very arrogant. Start abusing. Sorry sir I am outsider .

Location and property is really nice. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Good accessibility to Har ki Pauri, can even go walking. Private ghat inside the hotel is superb. We could take a dip in Holy Ganga whenever we wanted. We had the room with the river side view, which was awesome. Waking up to that view was mesmerizing. Food was delicious, although food preparation was delayed most of the times.
The most important thing about this hotel is that it is near to Haridwar Railway Station. The location given in google maps seems to be inaccurate. There is a lane near Swad Restaurant, those who want to go they can go from here to this hotel. Rooms are extremely clean and the bathroom also. For me, this was the perfect choice to stay at Haridwar! Jai Ganga Maiyaa! 🙏
I visited hotel alpana with family ...the overall experience with hotel was awesome....hotel location was wonderful..and easily reachable.to.har ki pauri....staff was very co-operative in terms of check-in and check-out...as we did checkout at 1 pm which usually happens at 11 am...i would definitely recommend to take stay in hotel alpana...
Location of the hotel was good, only 5-6 minutes toto/ auto distance from Haridwar station.Bathroom and rooms were really clean and fresh . blanket and pillow were Clean as well . Geyser facilities was there for 24 * 7.
