Coimbatore is always a lovely place to be at.
Coimbatore is always a lovely place to be at. Warm people and a great culture to relish. My personal favourite is Isha Ashram, which I visit often, and also some of the places to dine like Anandhas and Sree Annapurna, while you are in the city. This time around, I also happened to visit the Gass Museum, which was very impressive if you are interested to know more about the flora and fauna with their well-researched and documented space, in the midst of a serene forest department campus.

Wonderful city with everything gettable as in a Metro withing a close and accessible surrounding. Be it a tour for anything, religious, business, holidaying, Malls and so on, nice destination. Cool climate, Ooty very nearby. Bhavani, Satyamangalam, Ooty, Palakkad, Anakatty, Marudhamalai, Pollack all around.

City is very lively in the early and late hours. Cab services are quick but they additional charge over n above the fare price else cancel the ride. This was shocking. Well connected public transport facilities. City is developed at the same time natural habitation maintained. Good food.Many historical n religious places to visit n learn. Owing to Isha Yoga Center many foreign tourists to be seen. Overall a happening city.

Coimbatore is a city with great temples. Each one requires sone two to three hours and sone or on the outskirts especially maridhumalai, pateeswarar, eeachanari Vinayagar, Velliangiri hills. These temples are very old and both spiritual and architectural marvel. So take care to spend good two to three days. The local cuisine is typical South Indian and you could make a visit to the big eateries Annapurna and Arya Bhavan and have coffee at any of the local Bakeries (you will find bakes in all places ) And yes, don’t miss to visit the Isha Ashram. it is fully worth it. This is also a gateway to Ooty and other nearby towns . Plan your stay accordingly
The room had a good view and the location of the hotel is very convenient. The rooms have AC and fan and the staff can open the window if necessary. The breakfast had pasta, sandwiches and paratha in addition to a south Indian spread. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We were traveling with family who have dietary restrictions - we requested food in room service without any chilies and the food was very tasty. We had a wonderful stay.
The location of this hotel is perfect, just 600 meters from Coimbatore Railway Station. The property looks very new and clean, including the rooms and the bathrooms. I used a common bathroom, which had a western toilet and was very clean. Many places to eat near the railway station. If I need a place to spend the night near the railway station, I'll choose this hotel again.
I lost my credit card in a bookstore in Mumbai airport, and only realized it upon arrival at Le Metidien In Coimbatore. The hotel manager immediately called the airport, snd within an hour my card was found and held securely until my return to Mumbai a few days later! Incredible service. Thank you!
Rooms are very spacious. Mattresses, WCs are clean. It’s close to the city center and there are couple of good restaurants next to this hotel that saved my time. The hotel staff can speak English. If I have to recommend between Ibis (Accord hotels) and Seetharam, I would suggest Seetharam.
Buffet section was decent and their hospitality is good. It was not a bad experience at all to stay here, however it is little congested inside the room. Again, do not trust google navigation here, try taking help from locals and hotel staff for navigation to airport or into the city.
Staffs were good but very slow in fulfilling any request. Location is good. Within 1.5 kms from coimbatore railway station and Gandhipuram bus stop. Quite place. Rooms are good. But washrooms are not cleaned.
Room was neat and tidy and the location was quite near to the railway station. Breakfast was sumptuous. Staff were prompt and receptive.
I would certainly recommend this hotel if one is a solo traveler.
It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life cleanliness was zero, thru have the towel in white colour but it is not fit for using as a bathroom door mat
