Great stop between Agar and Dehli.
The decor demonstrated that the family were true lovers of nature.
We had the suite - 2 good-sized rooms, a lounge with a big fridge, the bedroom with excellent aircon.
Lovely verandah to watch the wildlife - sunbirds and bee-eaters, house lizards, etc.
They cooked us a great vegetarian dinner.
Breakfast is basic but adequate.
Loved the quiet location about 3km from Keoladeo reserve (which is amazing).- we had a hire car.

The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds. The plus on going in late April was that although the migratory birds were not there, the water was low so the wading birds were very close.

1 night stay to visit Bird sanctuary in the morning. We reached early in the morning to Bird Sanctuary - 730 AM and hence could chose good condition bicycles. We took a guide who was very knowledgeable and was with telescope and binoculars. We enjoyed cycling and lot of beautiful birds.
The Birder's Inn is an ideal location when visiting the Keoladeo National Park. You can easily get an e-rickshaw or walk to the park entrance. The hotel is quite nice with a courtyard feel that helps isolate from road noise. The rooms are big. Meals at the restaurant were good and they were able to accommodate our daughter's need for gluten free meals. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were grateful for the extra blankets and space heaters in January as it was cold.
The food was excellent. This resort is very conveniently placed right in the midst of the Deeg road and Bharatpur highway making travel to both sides equally convenient. It is a quiet area. We had the executive suite which is a beautiful large room with a lot of sunlight. It was beautiful. The staff were friendly. I would specially like to mention Mr Om Prakash, Mr Jitendra Chaudhary, Mr Madhusudan, Mr Kailash, Mr Sahid, Mr Pavan and all the others we interacted with.
The owner, Dr. Digvijay is truly a people's person. Both him and the rest of the staff ensured that their guests find a peaceful home away from home.
I absolutely loved my stay here, and the food was homely, very economical and extremely tasty. There wasn't a dull moment as we kept exchanging our travel stories well into the night, post dinner, The hotel is well located, less than a kilometer's walk from Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary.
We had a lovely stay at the Sanctuary Lodge. It was a nice space and very clean. The hosts were very attentive and helpful (lots of good information about the bird sanctuary). They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The food was delicious, all home made and bursting with flavour (we had Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
Would absolutely recommend for stays and eating in Bharatpur!!
It was my 3rd visit to this property. Super happy with the host and the facilities on offer. Neat rooms plush decor, complementary bonfire, heater in room, large seating areas. Chander bhai took excellent care of our food Mukesh Bhai supported us with Bird Sanctuary visit and also helped us with our tour Chambal river Safari boating needs. We had an awesome time.
hotel have limited varieties in breakfast & food, but quality is super, hygienic and tasty having Reasonable Rates. In Hotel, Rooms are of Two Types Normal(double) and Good (Budget double) of which Both Size Same but Comfort, Facilities & Qualities are Different. Comfort is our choice to which room we choose.
What was there to like? I checked-in to the hotel, had food and went to the sanctuary to see birds. When I returned my luggage was shifted to Hotel Sunbird without asking for my permission or even informing me!
This hotel was so clean and the staff were calm and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious. We borrowed thier bikes to go to the national park and this was very easy to get to.
Overall everything was great and best is Mr Devendra Iora , owner not just managed on his own everything, but also understands the requirements and helps you personally on everything
