We enjoyed the location and ability to walk to sights nearby. The breakfast was hearty.
The room clean and quiet. Staff wonderful.

Great location - the Dublin Airport Express is literally across the street (drop off) and a block away (pick up); it's the second stop. The red line tram is behind the hotel and will take you to Heuston train station (points south), and less than 10 min walk to the train at Connolly station (points north). You can never get lost because the hotel is right on the river!
Room was nicer than some Marriott's I stay in for business travel in the States! Espresso maching with daily biscuit and bottled water refreshed. Very modern, and comfortable bed and linens, very clean. Large flat screen tv and plenty of mirrors. Nice toiletries from Rituals. I did not take a room with river view or balcony, and it was very quiet.
Staff was friendly and helpful in storing my bag upon arrival and check out, and booking me a taxi for dinner out. I did not eat at the hotel- there are a few coffee options on the plaza next to the hotel, if you want to save money on breakfast - but I did have a drink and the bartenders were friendly.

Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.
Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

The room was very run down and very old fashioned.
The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.

your hotel was hopeless no heating,no soap liquid or other, ridiculous position of Tea coffee machine and kettle, Italian restaurant only. Had to walik through a kids play area with suitcases to get to elevator. No stopping at front of hotel so long walk with luggage. Breakfast area all chopped up with pillars not enough seats.

I booked the Stillorgan hotel as it was close to our daughter who rents near by and she was able to pick us up and we all travelled together to the musical Grease in Bord Gáis, most enjoyable. Then we all met again for breakfast in the hotel the next morning. So a most enjoyable and convenient time was enjoyed by all.
The room size was amazing and we'll set out.
Coffee making facilities are available and that helps.
Insulation is a problem, there is 16mm double insulated aluminum windows but you hear all the cars driving past.
Room main door is not sealed at all , you can hear someone whisper in the corridor, there where people partying on the same floor and we did sleep a wink.
Definitely not a family hotel.
But still very friendly staff and good atmosphere and value for money.
Kind Regards Rui
I have absolutely no faults in this beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and clean, every member of staff was very welcoming and friendly, extra mention for Juliana and Alfredo. The food was exceptional and as a Coeliac I felt I got extra special treatment. When our choice of wine wasn't available after 3 picks we were treated to a free cocktail for the inconvenience. I would definitely recommend and stay here again 😍
spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Dined in delightful Orangerie on first night. Menus clearly marked for allergens but not a great deal of choice for the gluten free. However, staff were flexible with other options. Breakfasts were excellent. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect. The rooms were so spacious, clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and will definitely be staying again . Also we had dinner in the hotel restaurant on Monday night and the food was fabulous and the portions are big. No going to McDonalds afterwards for us 🤣
The staff really were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy and loved the decor of the room. Parking was free which is a bonus now when staying in a hotel in Dublin as a lot of hotels charge even if your a guest or not. Also the bus stops right outside.
The whole experience was fantastic! I will stay there again! The rooms were spotless, freshly decorated and the breakfast was one of the best that we had on our grand tour of Ireland! Free parking outside the door made it extra luxurious!!!
The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable and the gardens and surrounding areas were fabulous. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, including the gardens.
Check in very easy. Hotel staff was very accommodating - arranged a taxi, provided breakfast boxes for an early flight, and the bartender took the time to write out a recipe for a drink my husband really enjoyed.
Very beautiful hotel, spacious design, wonderful restaurant, great garden, very kind staff, delicious food in the restaurant and bar. Totally recommended !!! THE EXPERIENCE in Dublin!
The room was big, beautiful and clean. We had desk space and a kettle. They were not upset with us about losing a key card. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
I like the historical aspect of the hotel, and the staff was very nice. A refrigerator was provided upon request for my room. The bed and the room or very comfy.
Free parking and loads of it.
Nice Bar Food Menu, expensive.
Dart is about 20min walk and taxi to RDS is €20 day time rate.
Hotel handy to get to off the M50.
Fine hotel in lovely country manor-like setting close to the city center. Room was quiet and bed cozy. Food was excellent and staff very courteous. Great value.
