The city is pleasant for everyone who wants thermal pleasures, peace and relaxation. Heviz is also a very clean city. The thermal lake, churches are also worth a visit... My personal opinion is that most of the restaurants are lower middle class. We ate at Magyar csarda, where the quality of the food was appropriate for the price. A bit disturbing is the overabundance of Thai massages.

Heviz is a quaint small town imbued with a serene wellness ambiance, offering visitors the perfect opportunity to unwind and immerse themselves in relaxation. One can leisurely stroll through the nearby park, soaking in the natural beauty, before indulging in a soothing dip in the rejuvenating thermal pools. While my time was primarily spent within the confines of the hotel, venturing out for a leisurely walk provided a refreshing addition to my wellness weekend.

The Hévízi Tó is a unique thermal lake, with a beautiful old "swimming house. If you are somewhere around Balaton lake it is worth a day tour, but some more days are great for perfect relaxation.

In february its calm, and not to many people.... If you would like moor to look or roundabaut, better to take a taxi, or a car. Dont like to foot , in the near , You can visit Keszthely , or The Balaton-see...... THe food as well, and we hve in Hotel any possibility.... I, and my hospand are olderly guest, we cant not well to foot.....
We have visitet the ruin from romers, Churchs and museum Heviz....
make a littly trip to Balaton....
I think to have a car wood be better....

Relatively quiet town (I visited in mid-January) with lots of green areas. From all the languages I speak (EN, DE, SI, HR, FR, RU) in the end Russian and German were the most usefull when interacting with the shopkeepers and waiters.
The lake / spa is really quite unique- there are not many places where you can freely swim around a lake in the middle of winter (-4C outside T). Fair warning though- the thermal water has a quite pungent scent 🙂.
The hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good, with a lot of variety. We liked that the spa pool and the saunas were free for the use of hotel patrons. It was within walking distance of the famous thermal Lake Heviz, shops and restaurants. there was free parking for hotel guests just a few doors from the hotel. It is a boutique hotel with around 20 rooms, so it was nice and quiet, There is an elevator. Staff were friendly.
Excellent and spacious apartment, very friendly and supportive host, nice terrace. Wish I would stay longer. Very nice jacuzzi included in the price. Apartment was very silent. Location is uphill from Heviz centrer, but walking is very healthy, so this I consider as advantage. Apartment is in the walking distance from Termal Lake Heviz. Strongly recommend this apartment.
We appreciated the outdoor pools and yard with lot of shadow from the trees which made the stay very comfortable. The hotel is serving only fullboard, but with a reasonable large variety. Also, the drinks were included (soft drinks, but also beer and wine). The parking place is large which is a plus. Also, the hotel is situated very close to the thermal lake of Heviz
We liked everytihing about the property. It was as discribed in Booking.com and even better once you walked in. New, clean, big big big apartment. Comfortable. Everything was there including the coffee machine with the coffee pods. Bathroom had a washing machine, spar bath, Big rooms.
Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go the Heviz.
Heviz is nice little town/spa center with lot of greens and flowers. Lake is very nice and something that you can not see anywhere else. Nice walking distance from hotel to the lake (max. 10 minutes). The hotel overall is nice, the room as well. Everything was clean and staff was polite. Spa facilities, outdoor pools was nice.
The hotel is well-equipped, clean, and at a great location. The food was delicious and the staff was kind and helpful. We had a delightful New Year's Eve celebration and everything was organized at a high level. We particularly enjoyed the spa area and the versatile options it offered. A great experience - highly recommend!
Spacious. Kind owner. Great value for money - for good price you get a little apartment, well equipped kitchen. You will even find pool floats in the apartment which you can use for the lake. Not centrally located, but not too far from the lake, you only need to climb the hill.
Very good hotel close to small center of Heviz. We choose this hotel based on wellness facilities and the decision was right: 2 swiming pools inside and one big outside, jacuzzi and sauna. Thermal swimming pool with special ingredients in the water has 36-38 degrees.
Nice hotel, very close to lake. 2 min. At hotel you can find basic spa as well. Personal very helpful, but sometimes old fashioned. Dinner wasn’t good, but breakfast was quite ok. This is great place to relax and enjoy warm Hévíz lake.

The hotel had multiple (paid) welness procedures, performed by professionals. There were free to use swimming pools with mineral water, sauna, etc. The staff was nice, and even though the didn't reply to my request through booking.con they have fulfilled it.
The neighbourhood was very quiet and the apartment was clean and spacious. The landlady was helpful and forthcoming with information about Hévíz and its surroundings. We would stay there again should we visit that particularly beautiful spot in Hungary.

The place we stayed at had everything you could ask for. It was close to the Heviz lake, it had free parking, the room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and even gave us some apples and homemade cakes on the check out.
