Comfortable and clean, the food is very good and the views are good. The beach is ok, kids do not need a big beach, just an interesting one, with quiet water right? Beach is just outside and pool has a kiddy end to it. The host is very welcoming and helpful.

Great house with four good size bedrooms and two full baths, a kitchen, dining area, living room and nice yard with a porch, dining table and a grill. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Kitchen has everything you need. Owners greeted us on arrival (which was around midnight) and attended any request or question.
Locations was excellent. Close to airport, two mini markets and several taverns. Also close to nice beaches. Sunset beach is in walking distance and is great for relaxing (beware or rocks going in/out of water). Other super amazing beaches are 15-20 minutes away. I would recommend Marathi, Loutraki, Agios Onoufrios, Seitan Limani. Chaina port is also just 30 minutes away.
We were 5 adults and a teenager staying for seven nights and wish we could stay another week...

Pick up and drop off to airport included was really easy.. only 20 min drive.We arrived at midnight and the guy who picked us up made a detour so we could stop at a shop!
Good quality hire car as well that are at the hotel waiting for you and easy hand over.
We stayed in one of the suites that has it's own pool which are a 2 min walk from the main hotel. Lots of privacy so my wife enjoyed lots of topless sunbathing! Awesome view over the little cove where you can swim and is good for snorkeling. The room itself was brilliantly clean and modern. Housekeeping turned up every day to tidy
The main pool is really large and clean and all surrounding areas are really nice and well kept.
Breakfast was good with something for everyone and served from 8 till 10.
We preferred lunch to dinner as it was more to our taste although both lunch and dinner were both really well priced so it's not expensive to stay in.
Location wise you have great beaches near by, the main 2 approx a 5 min drive away. A couple of little shops around the corner a 2 min drive away that have everything you really need and they do absolutely banging coffee about a third of the price of Starbucks! There's a supermarket about a 10 min drive and probably another 15 min from there is Chania Old Town which is very pretty.
We have been to this part of Crete a few times now and this was by far our best experience and will 100% be coming back here. It's not the cheapest place to stay but you get what you pay for and if you want a luxury relaxing break with zero to worry about don't go anywhere else

My room was large and fully equiped apartment with view directly in front och beach and sea. It was close to the pool and easy to access with luggage. The fridge was excellent and large. We loved the beauty and nature in Stavros. There were 2 small well stocked supermarkets and 5 restaurants. The beach was beautiful and of course the Mountain which always captured your gaze- a very scenic place away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. The Paradice Hotel luxury suites were first class and by far the best place to stay and as if that’s not enough, they have a massive deluxe extension and another huge pool opening in March 2024.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, we didn’t find anywhere else that matched the quality and prices; amazing value! The environment of the resort was lovely from the gardens to the pool area to the area by the sea with pontoon.
Could have been even better if the room had coffee/tea facilities.

Stavros is a very calm place, with a great bay to swim in, even when the sea is agitated. It's great for families, but also for romantic couples that want to disconnect from the touristic vibe.
We enjoyed the traditional cuisine in a lovely and cheap family restaurant - Zorbas Taverna.

For us the hotel was perfect, away from the beach with an easy walk. The bars and restaurants were plentiful and the food of a great quality.
Stavros is a great location for adventuring, Chania is near, the old town is a treat, monasteries and the botanical gardens were visited as well as some of the other beaches in the area. Crete has a great vibe and we will be back.
The location is the best thing about this accommodation, as it gives you the chance to experience a semi-private beach, quiet and relaxing, with a great view of the bay and also the mountain.
The size of the apartment is good and the terrace downstairs is nice too.
The reception was flexible and we could arrange to have a late checkout, pay a fee, and also transfer to the airport for a reasonable price.
We were a group of 4 people, with two apartments, and we evaluated this accommodation in a different manner, 9 is the average score.
We loved absolutely everything about our stay- apartments, surroundings, food, service, atmosphere… simply the greatest place to spend your time in Stavros. Ladies at the reception were just lovely, they helped to organise our trips, and the level of hospitality you will receive in this hotel is the TOP! Rooms always clean, fresh breakfast everyday made just for you.
Also the beach Zorbas is beautiful, especially suitable for families with kids as the sea is very calm, warm and shallow.
I couldn’t recommend more, paradise in Crete!
We spent a fantastic week at this apartment. The whole family is lovely, they are the best hosts at Stavros! :) Fruits and vegetables from the garden, raki, homemade chocolate made our stay more comfortable by them.
We had everything for a great summer trip. The apartment is well-equiped, very clean and comfortable. We travelled with 2 children, they were comfy, too. The beach and small shops, restaurants are near. If you rent a car, you can trip a lot nearby.
We recommend it, and hope that we can return!
Okay-ish if you are searching for a low-cost accommodation and would just spend the night there. The host seemed very nice although we didn't have many interactions throughout our stay. Better to have a car as there are better beaches near Chania than Stavros. There is also a swimming pool that looked nice but we didn't have a chance to try it. And an excellent restaurant Yiasemi within a walking distance.
This place is amazing. We only stayed for one night as we explored the island and wanted to be flexible and didn’t want to commit to one location. In hindsight though, it would’ve been good to have Kavos as a home base in Crete. The staff is super friendly. The food is delicious. The accommodation is very clean and has it’s own little private beach. Definitely a ten out of ten!
Kostas and Marios were always available and helpful to cover our needs and answer our question. The villa is well equipped and located in a quiet area of Stavros.
The swimming pool area was incredible. Well designed, large, clean, perfect temperature, facing the mountains!

The hotel is perfectly located near the sea, the sunsets and sunrises are unique just in front of your balcony. There is an option to get rent a car from the hotel and you can reach all the beautiful beaches of the island. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff change the tawels every day. The parking for the cars is big and open 24/7.
A very warm host, welcome us, was available for anything we needed, and shared information about places on the island.
The hotel was very charming, and peaceful and the rooms were incredibly clean. Steps from an amazing beach, one of the best on the whole island. We truly enjoyed our stay, we already arranging our come back again.
The property has amazing view which you can enjoy from your balcony or by the pool. The owner is the best - helped us with every question we had, suggested us the best restaurants in the city and guided us to the best beaches in the island. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
