The location is incredibly convenient, situated just a 10-minute drive from the airport and only 15 minutes from Heraklion.
The room was a highlight of my stay beautifully appointed and exceptionally comfortable, with all the amenities one could ask for. It was clear that a lot of thought had been put into making the space both functional and opulent.

Really little city, you can find food, and markets, go to the beach and that really is all. Would recommend going to Heraklion nearby and the whole island for a week stay. (Didn't try the Minoan Experience tho)

Karteros is a lovely small village right by a number of beautiful beaches, it has all the essential facilities you could need and is within a short bus ride away from the city of Heraklion. However, though small, it is a very busy place (when we went, last 2 weeks of June) that is very popular with the locals, especially teenagers accessing the beach facilities and so the bus to Heraklion can get extremely full between 5pm and 7pm.
It’s an amazing, modern hotel with all the amenities. The smart room features and personal concierge service are a nice touch. The heated private pool was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and joyful as possible, even organizing a wine tour for us in a nearby vineyard. The food was excellent, the bar offered wonderful signature cocktails and local craft beers. The luxury spa with massage and sauna was deeply relaxing.
Fast check in, friendly and helpfull staff. Especially with young kids this is a very good place to stay because of the pool and the playground. You can also get breakfast here in the morning and a bite to eat the entire day until 2300 hours. Also this hotel is located 1 minute walk from the beach. In case you forgot to bring something I think the staff will be happy to help you get this, or you can go to the mini market 30 meters away from the hotel

You can walk to Karteros beach good , or by car or bus go to more far away beautiful beaches or beach bars at nights. I have booked just 2 nights but I stayed till the end of my vacay. Although place is still in improving phase owner and stuff are friendly and extremely helpful. Having breakfast and dinner in garden while chatting with other guests was beautiful experience.

No problem to stay by the pool instead of going to the beach. That was about 10 min walk. Also a good place for families with small children.
We really appreciated the late-night airport pickup and the bus station drop-off for reasonable fees. The location is great. We took bus 7 or 12 to Heraklion for 1.50 each way. Karteros Beach nearby. Room, bathroom, and kitchen were great. Washing machine was great too. Air-conditioning was excellent. Wonderful stay!
Giorgos is an excellent host; friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. The property is very clean and just a 3-minute walk from the beach. It has a restaurant and parking. It's a quick drive from the airport.

Very nice place, amazing and supportive stuff. There is a possibility to order food delivery, but the restaurant doesn't talk English. Hotel stuff helped us with translation and ordered food for us. Great terrace and pleasant outside pool.
An ideal place for our cycling group to relax on the beach and fly home the next day. Breakfast was very good, you can say the best during our trip, because most of the time we lived in hotels without breakfast or campsites, or in nature.
The setting is wonderful. It’s a sophisticated. new hotel. Great staff. I saw some negative reviews but I found the for a buffet the chef really does his best. The only negative thing was the overpowering air freshener at the entrance.
The location is not far from the airport. With the sound proof room you don’t hear the planes.
