The hotel is located right next to the beach with great view and small private beach zone. The rooms were spacious and comfy. It is definitely a great place especially for family with small kids. They have very rich program of all day activities and you can't be bored during your stay. Also they have great and clean swimming pools.

We did not stay at Thamirakis as our room was not available, instead we were moved 1,2km away to the edge of the village. The place was very nice though, right on the beach, so no complains here.

Overall the stay was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and the showers were luxurious. For the price my two day stay was dream. The bathrobes were very nice. The wifi was excellent and the TV set up was also very good.

Perfect Cretan working village by the sea.Great beaches.Plenty good tevernas,kanefeons and bars with very reasonable prices.Supermarket,mini markets and shops Local butchers,bakers,fruit and veg shops with fresh local produce.Good base fortrips to other places including archeological and historical sites.Car hire and ATMs in abundance.It's about 30 - 40 minutes depending on your mode of transport from Chania airport and about 25 minutes from Souda ferry terminal.Highly recommended.

The rooms have no noise cancellation from the outside world.
The humidity is high and they look different than the picstures in booking.
They are probably 3-4 star bungalows not hotel rooms.

The hotel was lovely with very good all inclusive. The TV dosen't show English channels except for BBC News. Right on the beach with the hotel providing free sun beds & unbrellas. The sea was very cold & the beach very course. Not much in the village. You will need a car to get around or a taxi.

The owner is a very lovely lady. She even let me stay over the check out time on my last day, which was just perfect! It is by the seaside so the view is very pretty! You can also go to the little greek town center by foot. The beach is also very close and tavernas too. Supermarket is 1min away by car so the location is perfect!

Kalyves is a traditional Cretan seaside town, with so many good & well priced tavernas to choose from. Our favourites were Elena's and Mythos, both right by the sea. The beaches are lovely and clean and not too busy.
We have been visiting Kalyves on and off since 1990 and it really hasn't changed that much in all this time - it has the same charm now as it did then.

Travelled early May and loved the very relaxed feel to the village. Lots of places to eat delicious Greek food all reasonably priced. Lots of shops and supermarkets. Nice sandy beach too. Drinks in the bars were very reasonable and there were bakeries which opened early morning so you can buy freshly made pastries for breakfast. Totally delightful place.
Staff were extremely friendly and so helpful, upon check in we were asked if we'd like some information on the area and of course we said yes. We were told nearest supermarket, ATM, best bit of the beach etc
Apartment was extremely clean and a very good size for two of us, bigger than expected. Good amount of plug sockets around the apartment and good lighting throughout.
The cafe downstairs looked very modern and clean
All the balconies overlook the sea and it was so beautiful

Great location right in the heart of Kalyves! There's a bakery downstairs and pharmacy, minimarket and tavernas across the street. Beach is only a few steps away.
Christina and Dimitris were both great, communication was easy and fast, everything was well organized for our stay. We also got some great tips for activity and restaurants.
It was very clean and the beds were comfy. Also the rooftop terrace was absolutely amazing!
We love the atmosphere in Kalyves and it is a great location for exploring as well as having very good local beaches, cafes and restaurants. Porto Kalyves apartments are in a great location for both sides of the village. All of the staff were very friendly and always helpful. The Cactus bar and restaurant attached is very good and makes the best cocktails!
The studios offer everything you need for a low price. Next to little private beach. Daily room service. Taverns, supermarkets, lovely shops, transport in walking distance. Good acces from Chania Airport. Great base for day-trips. Very friendly host and staff. Not touristically overloaded with a good international mix. Beautiful!
Beautiful, spacious property, well laid out with a lovely pool. Stunning views from the house - can lay in bed and see and hear the sea. Amazing location near to a quiet part of the beach but between two places to get food and drinks. Some tavernas within 10 min walk, a little longer to get to Kalyves.

The apartment is well maintained, everything you need is inside with a terrace for nice breakfast with sea wave sounds. Kitchen well equipped.
Morning walks on the beach to Kalyves area are dhort, fun, and refreshing and a great start for any day.
We had a perfect holiday in Kiani Beach Resort. The sea, the food, all the facilities were very good. Our 6 years old daughter enjoyed a lot. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. We hope to go to Crete Island and stay in this lovely hotel again. Thanks for everything.
We loved everything about this house! Beautiful, clean, safe, private and a three minute drive to an amazing beach and fantastic restaurants. Manos was so helpful with information about the island and questions we had about the house. Nothing negative to say. Highly recommend!!!!
The property is really beautiful, clean, tasteful, equipped with everything you need, away from the main road and surrounded by a garden, it was quiet and lovely as I was hoping! Less than 5min away from the beach and shops. When I come back to Kalyves I will book again.

Very nice and clean place in a quiet location, good place to relax and enjoy holiday. Lovely, clean swimming pool , close to the beach, supermarket 1 minute away from apartment, 10 minutes away from Kalyves centre. The owner very polite and frendly 🥰
The apartment had a nice bedroom with balcony and a smaller kitchen and living room. It was well equipped.
Parking was right outside and it is a short walk to the centre of the village and even closer to the beach which is just across the road.
