We had a lovely big room with bathroom. Shower over bath worked well and complementary products were good quality as were the towels. Staff friendly and food good with some nice diversity from typical pub food.

Lovely Grade 2 listed pub. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. The only reason I haven't rated it 10/10 is cos the windows were single glazed, dirty, with a cracked pain, and no privacy in the bathroom unless you pulled the blind down. Would be cold in winter.

You were informed of everything you needed to know about your stay before you got there. Also arranging your check-in before you arrived and how to get into the property outside normal hours. Breakfast was brilliant they were there on hand to provide what you required from the preset form you filled in the day before. The staff were very warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you.
