First of all the good thing: on arrival my husband tripped on the stairs and fell over, and because his mobility is not brilliant, he was finding it difficult to get up. Staff were EXTREMEMELY caring and helpful, and we were very, very grateful.

The owner is accommodating and kind. The hotel is of a very high standard. It is stylish and chic.
We slept very well as the location is very quiet and there is good soundproofing.
It's very close to the train station/taxi rank, shops cafes and restaurants, and there's a small Tesco just around the corner which is open late.
It was brilliant to have a fridge and kitchen area, dining table and sofa, what more could you need for a very comfortable stay.
The wood garden is simply stunning and beautifully designed. Enjoyed a coffee there in the sun!
We would definitely return next time we're in Worcester!

Great place for anyone who loves history. Particularly Medieval and English Civil War then of course there is the Elgar connection. Plenty of old buildings. Worth looking out for tours of the City and the Cathedral reasonably priced -the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides are a credit to the city. The Cathedral is free to visit though donations encouraged -and King John's tomb is there.
The riverside walks are great, and always like seeing the swan sanctuary . Found prices for food and drink cheaper than where I live.
The historical sites of the City are largely central and relatively near to each other.

A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .
Lovely hotel has really great potential once refurbishment is complete.
The patio area was very pleasant to sit outside in the scorching heat as was pretty, shaded and plenty of furniture.
Our room was very clean and well equipped .. hairdryer, shower gel, towels, trouser press, tv, free wifi ..
Excellent location for short walk to centre. We parked for 2 nights @£12 total ( Clare St .. hotel is less )
Will most definitely be back ..
Thank You Worcester for a great weekend .
Location was spot on by the river. Room was very nice for the money. Hotel interior and furnishings very good. Couldn't fault breakfast. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and piping hot on a hot plate which is a rarity these days. Also had lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Again, the food was fantastic, freshly cooked to order and very good service. Hotel had a good atmosphere and is obviously very popular.
The hotel is in the city centre and extremely convenient for visiting Worcester. The decor may be in need of a face lift but it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The manager. CHRIS goes our of his way to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. I have been here for almost three weeks as my wife is in the local hospital and Chris has been brilliant and gone out of his way to help me in this difficult time.
Comfortable hotel in the centre of Worcester. Ideal for access to Worcester, also just opposite Foregate train station. Largish car park at rea of hotel (£10 per night or £20 per night for a reserved spot)
Great buffet breakfast, plus they will make extras individually e.g. porridge, omelettes, poach eggs etc.
I didn't get time to use the leisure facilities but there is a gym and swimming pool on site
Fantastic in every way, we stayed for one night, we were upgraded to an Apartment, the evening meal was 10/10 and discounted by 50 per cent. When we arrived we were early and had a Coffee and the owner paid for them. We have no connection to this Hotel but honestly if you are stopping in Worcester as we did you will not be disappointed. Kevin and Theresa Thompson Dartford,Kent.
1. Parking on site (chargeable at 5£ per night). Could have been free for the hotel clients, but it is not.
2. Wifi is reasonable, but have to re-login each time
3. The location is great, 5 min walk to cathedral and all attractions
4. Loved the bath tub in the room
5. Kettle in the room is very handy (tea/coffee)
I can thoroughly recommend The Shrubbery Guest House as an easy to find, comfortable, homely stay near to the centre of Worcester ; the lady who owns and runs it couldn't be a better hostess and the rooms are fine and clean and comfortable ; the superb breakfast will keep you going well into the rest of the day.
Lovely location next to the river and handy for exploring Worcester and surrounding areas. Traditional style hotel with that warm cosy feeling. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Staff are exceptionally helpful and present! Evening meal menu had a good selection and my meal was excellent.
I have stayed here quite a few times as my Granddaughter was at the university in Worcester training to be a Paramedic and we stayed there quite a few times and by going back says how good this Hotel is she is now a paramedic and we still stay at this Hotel
well pleased on arrival with first impression and location of the Dewdrop Inn. Made very welcome. Excellent rooms and excellent food. Well looked after by all the staff. If in the area would definately stay there again.
Very compact & bijou, everything we needed for a city break. Modern & clean. Saw the cleaner a couple of times who was really lovely. Fantastic location. We loved Worcester & would certainly book this hotel again.
The location and the facilities are really good. It’s a real hotel room plus and a great place from which to see Worcester. There is a fantastic garden on the first floor for an early evening drink before dinner.
Location brilliant - go for a room with a river view
Good menu, well cooked food
Lovely garden areas for outside drinks and snacks
Parking on-site
River walks from the door , cathedral and twin 5 minutes away
Bed was lovely bathroom facilities were good all bathroom fan could do with it's own switch.
No need for so many kitchen facilities as no one stays in a hotel and cooks.
