Very Friendly staff which was welcoming, and ensured our stay was comfortable. Great food in the pub, nice bathroom and comfy beds. We had to leave before breakfast was officially open and the staff set us off with baps and drinks to go! Plus they provide a fan which is always a huge bonus.

The town was within easy reach of the markets at Stroud and the wetlands park (Slimbridge), both worth a visit.
Also a visit to the local canal was worth it.
